I fail to see how Collingwood's pick 6 should complicate anything at all for freo?? They pick who they want at 2 and 5, and let Collingwood get who they want at 6. There's literally no chance that any player in the frame for the Pies' pick 6 would still be available at freo's next pick at 42.

1. Rayner (Brisb to back in Hodge factor)
2. LDU (clear top 2 prospect)
3. Cerra (SOS rates him really highly)
4. Dow (Norths #1 from all reports)

Kim Hagdorn, so it's most likely all made up. He mentioned Naughton, but then went on to mention like 7 other people. He's just throwing out as many darts as he can in the hope that he lands one.

I bow to the great Haggers. That is probably the worst article i've read in a long time. It is Robbo-worthy. Does Haggers drink?

In the first 3 short paragraphs alone he has unleashed adjectives like: Rising, Outstanding, Frenzied, Stormed, Stunning, Hectic, Cherished, Astonishing and Emerging.

And by the end of it, you are no more knowledgable about Freo's selections than when you started. Oh, except that as you say, they are petrified that the Pies could snaffle the guy they maybe want with Pick 5 at Pick 6.

SOunds like he is trying to manipulate the draft by implying to recruiters that he is going to be back in Melbourne at the earliest opportunity if they draft him. In all honesty I wish players like that were ineligible for the draft entirely.

On a more realistic note. Brisbane would be nuts to draft him.

I would say some Vic players maybe more accurate. I know we lost Shache but he was dead set scared of the dark and has the heart of a blow fly. Don't think the club will be overly concerned, he will turn out to be a lemon. Anyway off track, wrong thread.

LDU is covering all bases. He had his team trade his man Hodgy to Brisbane. Also made his mum buy a house up there.

He also made Freo draft Blakely 2 years ago as a future surfing buddy.

And he made Carlton send his Peninsula mate Weitering down to mentor him all this year.

For the good of the Brisbane Lions I hope they don’t select Rayner because I genuinely have no doubt whatsoever he’ll be out at the earliest opportunity. Neither he nor LFogarty the Western Jets are interested in moving interstate.
