Well I doubt it will be but Hine has gone for a Lower Ranked played before. Just look at De Goey where he was Rated around 10-20 but we took him at 5. Same as Pendles he was not Rated as a Top 5 Pick. Hine has been good with 1st Round Picks and Murphy might come a Very Good Player

Derek needs to take off his cape and try not to be some hero to Collingwood supporters by picking bolters. The Murphy link baffles me really - what does he offer that we don’t already have? The only thing I can come up with is that he’s a better kick than our medium defenders (Shaz and Langdon) but that’s about it. He’s not overly quick, skilled or tall which we are deficient in all of.

Also not in favour of getting Naughton at all

McGrath made a steady climb to the top from the Championships onwards. The Vic Metro versus the Vic Country game put McGrath in to the top 5 conversation.

Taranto was the player that made a late surge in the last month. It was Sandy's playoff push that saw Taranto rise in to top 10 contention.

Everytime i hear about how good all these new draftee's are going to be and what 'Guns' they are and how supporters take it as a given that they are 10 year players that will be Elite just because they are 1st rounder.

I go back 5-6 years and have a look at who was drafted and realise that only 2-3 actuall become the players we all thought they would become
the following list has only 4 gun players with 4 good players but only 1 potential champion (Daniher) but not many would get the value they cost in a draft

Actually Hedgefund (who clearly knows some actual recruiters thoughts) on this board talked about Brayshaw going 1 a month or two ago, MissionPossible raised the possibility of it earlier in the week as well in his Power Rankings.
