Pies surely take Fogarty if he's there at 6

Unfortunately not a rumour but some guesswork ...Yep.
LOB good chance to Carlton at 10 if Clarke and Stephenson are gone.

That's definitely the general consensus, at least some sort of key position player.I have fingers crossed that if we get a mid at #2 like UDL, then we go the Fog at #5
Similarly if we get Rayner at #2 then we grab the next mid at #5, maybe Dow or Brayshaw
I thought Collingwood need a KPD more than a mid/fwd
Andrew's other brother is based in Brisbane with the army, maybe we could poach Angus and get the 3 boys back together.Let's get back on track.
Can someone explain to me why Andrew Brayshaw, who has a brother playing in his home city of Melbourne for a club that should be on the rise, would be staying long term at Brisbane and won't get offered a big deal to come home to play with his brother?
Is it because Hamish might get drafted to Brisbane?
Yes, plenty of brothers don't play together but Andrew's professionalism is being used as a reason why he would stick it out with a club that drafts him, my experience with professional near psychopaths is that they work their butts off for the cause that gets them the furthest to their goal and success. Is his brand going to be large enough at Brisbane when he has that spot on Melbourne's list right there on offer?
The fierce loyalty and professionalism are mutually exclusive.
If Fremantle drafted Andrew Brayshaw I would expect Melbourne to chase him.
As I understand it, thereis another, older Brayshaw brother who lives in Qld. The thinking is Lions take Andrew, and also Hamish late in this draft, and a chance they might recruit Angus down the track.Let's get back on track.

I think Saints will go a mid and a tall at Picks 7 and 8. Not sure why Nathan Murphy hasn’t been linked to you but I think he has the attributes (very good 2km time). But if not him, then I think you’ll take Fogarty, again with your other pick being a pure mid.
Read somewhere your coach is a fan of Coffield too.
No need to be rude. The incessant SOS shit isn't even close to interesting to anyone but yourself and the other numpties contributing to it.
If you don't have a rumour, STFU and stop clogging up an interesting thread with garbage.
Murphy has in fact been linked to us quite strongly by HedgeFund in particular on here and yes we've definitely been heavily linked to Coffield.Unfortunately not a rumour but some guesswork ...

Now this is what we're all here for! That LOB info is from his camp, heard it in person yesterday. He also interviewed with Carlton yesterday (for Pick 10). Will depend on how the dominos fall but if he misses there, WCE are keen.
so saltyIf you're relying on those guys to get you out of the bottom three then you're in worse shape than I thought. Surely the spotlight must be shined on SOS soon?
I heard fremantle will pick Darcey Fogarty at pick 2
Poster on our board who broke the Sam Mitchell to WC story last year got told by an employee of an opposition club they believe Collingwood will select Fogarty at 6 if he’s available.
Pies surely take Fogarty if he's there at 6
To be honest mate, who I like doesn't belong on this thread. No need to be rude.
While we wait for a rumour, who would you like to see the Kangaroos take with your draft picks? At 4, do you want Cerra, Raynor, Dow, LDU, Stephenson, Murphy (was rumoured yesterday), Brayshaw, Stephenson?
Can confirm 100% you're taking Brayshaw or Rayner at 1.
2 players that are at a similar level the club should take into consideration which is a better long term prospect. That includes flight risk. I would prefer a vic kid over an interstate kid at the same level.who in the world has the same viewpoint on life at 24 or even 21 as they did as an 18 year old. There wouldn't be many that wouldn't prefer to stay in melbourne. So what? interstate teams just have to take worse players? Like obviously there are extreme cases but clubs need to be able to back their culture to retain players in the vast majority of cases, not just for players who can 'see themselves playing interstate for 10 years' at the age of 18
If we overlooked LDU we need to sack our recruitment team.Considering the majority & strength of rumours the top 10 will fall like this imo:
1. Bris - Brayshaw
2. Freo - Rayner
3. Carl - Dow
4. NM - Stephenson
5. Freo - LDU
6. Coll - Fogerty
7. StK - Cerra
8. StK - Coffield
9. WB - Naughton
10. Carl - Bonar
The Lions are down to Brayshaw & Rayner, they will favour the former due to low risk, character & prioritisation of a mid.
Freo will happily punt on a guy with questionable ability to play midfield longterm seeing as they will get best avail midfielder at 5. LDU is rumoured to have questionable drive hence slides & Freo pounce.
Carlton will toss up between Dow & LDU but favour the slightly more damaging Dow who has a few extra weapons. Bonar at 10 compliments the Dow selection being a duel positioned & highly talented fwd-mid.
NM have long liked Stephenson & will pick him ahead of LDU & Cerra due to needing outside pace & goal scoring ability.
Collingwood could conceivably pick Naughton or Cerra but will favour Fogerty who can fill many positions of need.
St Kilda are in the position to pick best available mid therefore Cerra is a no brainer. Coffield compliments the Cerra selection with his pace, athletic profile & height.
The Dogs simply select best available & Naughton at 9 is a neat & obvious pick. Their other first will be used on best available mid (Clark, LFog, Constable).
If we overlooked LDU we need to sack our recruitment team.
