McCluggage &a Berry are two best mates who were extremely stoked to be picked up together.

For a club like Brisbane I have no doubt things like this are taken into account, especially when it concerns our high draft picks.

They've also both mentioned how good a time they're both having up here/how good it is to come up with ya best friend.

Other players also take note of how they're attached at the hip (even share underpants apparently). Berry ha signed on and I think the majority fully expect McCluggage to extend soon too.

So yeah, in the extreme circumstance - Brissy - I'll grant it can play a role, but I doubt it has any impact otherwise.

So yeah, in the extreme circumstance - Brissy - I'll grant it can play a role, but I doubt it has any impact otherwise.

Clubs aren't going to massively reach for a player just because he's mates with another player they plan on drafting...but it could be the decisive factor if they are weighing up between 2 or 3 players who they rate at roughly the same level...then go for the 'mate'.

I really hope the rumour regarding Brayshaw at 1 is true. I wouldn't mind him at North at all, but it would mean that one of LDU, Dow or Rayner will be available at 4 which would be excellent for us.
