10 pages of nonsense, but one post which is about 4 pages in which makes you think it's back on track but that gets completely overawed by the more relevant debate about whether north will make the 8 next year.. or the odds that Carlton make the 8 next year compared to the spoon. :S

But yet, I've read every post the last 4 weeks. Why on earth does this thread keep reeling me in?

All signs pointing to Murphy at 6, i think thats a stretch. I see him between 11 - 16. I don't think that unreasonable. Pies need a key back, Naughton would be the smartest pick to fill those needs over murphy.

That has nothing to do with hype though. Collingwood were the first club to show an interest in Murphy early in the year. If they select him it’s because they’ve been in to him before any of us even knew he existed, not because of ‘hype’.

We're still being linked with Naughton, By rumour we'll take Naughton at 9, miss out on Lachie Fogarty at 16 (due to Brisbane) and take Constable at 16.

How do you know Stephenson wont grow twice across the shoulders once inside a professional AFL environment.

We're actually set for rebounding defenders too, although if he can develop into an A grader that would be great.

We just traded for Crozier with the intention of playing him back, then we have JJ, Suckling, Wood, Bailey Williams and have also said Bailey Dale will rotate through there. That's not counting KPDs and Morris who plays mid sized.

It's the one area of the ground we're actually set for so why we'd target a KPD, then a slow inside mid (Constable), has got us all stumped.

What areas do you think you need then?

From the outside it seems you have a pretty balanced list with no strong need for any position in particular...a lot will just depend on whether the team can capture it's 2016 form and standards.

I guess Dog fans are hoping for a medium type forward to replace Stringer and maybe a speedy midfielder?
If Dickson, Smith, Dalhaus, McLean etc can recapture their form you're actually set for smaller forwards as well.
