Here are a couple of Unknown Identity's posts from earlier today on other boards.

He's the one who broke the news of Stephenson's heart condition on here before the papers etc caught on and who last year made the HS for breaking the news on here that Mitchell could be traded to WCE, well before the media cottoned on:

Pies have played their cards extremely close to their chest, i don't have contacts at Collingwood, but know employees of a couple of clubs in the top 10 and they think it's Naughton or Fogarty to us.

So many things to play out.. If Lions take Brayshaw, how far Stephenson slides with his heart condition.

I know Saints will take Bonar with one of their picks, well at least up until last week that was their plan, with Brayshaw/Coffield their other preference.

So far based on my discussions with employees of a few clubs.

Lions - Brayshaw/Rayner
Fremantle - LDU
Carlton - Dow/Rayner
Fremantle - Cerra/Dow
Saints - Bonar
North - Brayshaw/Stephenson
Dogs - Coffield/Richards

Lions will dictate Who North take and Carlton take.

If Saints take Coffield at 7/8, Dogs will take Ed Richards at 9.

We need to forget needs and take the best available with pick 4 Friday. I still think Fogarty can become a great player. High Risk, High Reward. I’m sick of North playing safe when drafting.

I think that's just confirmation that BA has no idea about players outside of the TAC cup. Sure Liam Ryan is top 20 on talent but he was also top 20 on talent last year and didn't even get rookied. The bloke has some serious personal issues and while they may have lessened slightly, they still exist. I wouldn't take him in the top 60 even in the 'weak draft' and I was huge on him last year when he burst onto the WAFL scene.

He also didn't rate Powell Pepper at all last year. Bretts awesome but he's utterly clueless when it comes to the WAFL.

I wouldn’t as stated before by others, he does not address any of our needs, god knows we don’t need another flanker, not super happy with king at 23 either that would be a crap draft for us

He could be a good player on a wing and a bit through the middle and I don’t really see anything wrong with his game. I just don’t rate him top 10 with the others that will probably be available. Carlton need mid/forwards more than they need halfback/wing players. We have quite a few of those type of players already

Carlton definitely has a need for pace and skill, both off half back and through the midfield. You can't really ever have enough of either.

Would love it if he's right and we went down the Coffield/Richards path but with every major phantom having us taking Naughton I'm pretty much resigned to us making that baffling selection

Yeah it’s only my opinion but I just think there are others there who would be better for us. Regardless who we pick I’ll end up getting behind them. My preference is D-Fog or Bonar and Stephenson in that order

Looks like some splits emerging. The number 1 pick probably changes what happens down to pick 4. Then North's pick could influence down to the Pies. With the Saints then looking at the same players that the Dogs and Blues might want and beyond. It looks to me like there's nice talent available in to the teens. Then it gets in to the talls and pacey types in the 20's before getting more speculative after that.
