Stephenson... come to papa
Tigers draft is a ripper if it goes how CT thinks it will!

Stephenson... come to papa
He sounds extremely certain of it being one of Coffield/Richards though. No ifs, buts, or maybe's about the way he's stated it.Would love it if he's right and we went down the Coffield/Richards path but with every major phantom having us taking Naughton I'm pretty much resigned to us making that baffling selection
I reckon the one you could lock in for sure at our two picks if available is Coffield. We're just being linked to him everywhere (including on our board, where there are one or two who have been saying for weeks that we're certs to pick him if avail, and another one or two who are saying that Coffield has said he's been told that if available we'll pick him).So piecing together various rumours:
Brisbane: Rayner/Brayshaw
Freo: LDU
Carl: Dow (Rayner if available)
------------------------------------------------
North: Brayshaw/D Fogarty/Stephenson
Freo: Cerra (Brayshaw)
Coll: D Fogarty/Naughton/Richards (Cerra if available)
--------------------------------------------------
St Kilda 7:Clark/ Coffield
St Kilda 8 Coffield/Bonar/Naughton (D Fogarty)
Dogs:Richards/Naughton (D Fogarty, Coffield)
Blues: L O'Brien/Bonar (Coffield, Clark, Richards)
Looks like some splits emerging. The number 1 pick probably changes what happens down to pick 4. Then North's pick could influence down to the Pies. With the Saints then looking at the same players that the Dogs and Blues might want and beyond. It looks to me like there's nice talent available in to the teens. Then it gets in to the talls and pacey types in the 20's before getting more speculative after that.
Sometimes i wonder about Twomey's ability and this is one of those times.

The doubt seems to be around who we'll pair up with him, if he's available. If none of the expected top 5 slide, it seems very likely to be out of Bonar and Clark, with Fogarty being another chance, along with Stephenson.
He hadn’t ran for months and was coming back from a knee injury. What more do you expect. And he was still quicker than constableI'd be asking questions regarding his 7 minute 2k though, that was seriously bad.
I feel like in 2 years time Brisbane fans will realise this was a mistake. I am not sure, given their recent history, why they are even taking the risk.
Kden, first i've heard of that, if so i take it all back.He hadn’t ran for months and was coming back from a knee injury. What more do you expect. And he was still quicker than constable
I know that. I was just having some fun.I didn’t say I do know anyone. And I didn’t say I didn’t. That doesn’t matter. It’s a rumours thread so the ones I’ve heard I post
There are a few on the Lions board who feel the same way.I still don’t understand why Brisbane don’t just take ldu. Imo most complete player in this draft and he pribs 2nd overall in whole draft. If freo want him at 2 surely he’s fine movinbinterstate and is much less a risk than Rayner. Would also suit Brisbane since beams is always injured and lost Rockliff if they get a player who can play mid round 1 over Rayner who will pribs start forward and move into mid as he develops his tank
Reckon if it plays out that way after 2 years, it creates the burning platform to reform the draft system....
IMO it will be a good result if Carlton miss out on Rayner and Fogarty.
I think they might give a heads up to allow club with next pick to prepare their kid if involves interstate travel.I doubt it mate, can't see why clubs would give each other a heads up
I imagine they have a hit list of who they rate and take best available as they fall
Agree. Blues need pure mids, speed, elite kicking skills.IMO it will be a good result if Carlton miss out on Rayner and Fogarty.
We wouldn’t have taken Rayner anyway. So we aren’t missing out on him. But yeah will suck if we miss out on D-Fog but we’ll still get good talent at 10. Could go with a slight shock and take HigginsIMO it will be a good result if Carlton miss out on Rayner and Fogarty.
Good luck with that. Not too many who are good and required leave one Melbourne club for another, especially if they're the type with strong character/leadership, like Coffield is reputed to have. That's cool. Coffield is every chance to come to the dogs down the track
I think you overestimate how much the Victorian clubs/AFL care about Brisbane's retention issues, especially if those retention issues benefit Victorian clubs. I imagine the Bulldogs are pretty happy with Brisbane's retention issues.
