Hell, let's just get them to throw in Sloane and Walker too!

LIAM Ryan is a "human highlight reel" but it is his improved professionalism that should propel the Subiaco star into the AFL next season, national talent manager Mick Ablett says.
The spring-heeled 184cm forward did his draft chances no harm at the WA state combine on Sunday, stopping the clock with the second-fastest 20m sprint.
His blistering 2.89-second dash would've placed him outright second at the national combine, and topped his 2.92-second effort from last year.
Despite battling a cold, Ryan also ran a respectable Yo-Yo test – which has replaced the beep test – and impressed with his prodigious leap amongst a field of 22 hopefuls.
"He's just shown exactly what he's doing on-field; he's the excitement machine," Ablett said.
"Whether it's in the 20m sprint or the jumps, he's your human highlight reel just about."
Ryan burst onto the scene last year, booting 40 goals from 16 games, but the outrageously-talented goalkicker was overlooked by AFL clubs.
The 21-year-old knuckled down under coach Jarrad Schofield this season, and took out the WAFL goalkicking and finished eighth in the Sandover Medal.
"I think the consistency and the professionalism, that was probably the question mark from clubs as to whether he could back that up (this year)," Ablett said.
"He had a fantastic year last year, how would he go again?
"I think at the end of the day it was a good decision to let him play out another season in Perth and prove that he can back it up.
"So he's done that, I don't think there's any more Liam can do but sit back and wait until the 24th of November.
"I'll be very surprised if he doesn't get a chance."
Waaaay to early.Plan B if we don't get Cameron? Use pick 20 for Ryan?

If we are going to use a pick as high as 20 on a mature aged player from the WAFL I think it'd be Tim Kelly who we are supposedly very keen on and fits into that bracket of midfielders aged 21-25. I think Liam Ryan will get drafted this year but more in the 50+ range I'd imagine.Plan B if we don't get Cameron? Use pick 20 for Ryan?

Yeah I'd love for us to add Kelly. I think he'll fit in seamlessly at AFL level and he is exactly what we need as a 23 year old, ball winning mid with pace, quality foot skills and the ability to kick goals.Me too. Kelly could be plan B or possible plan S or T for a ready to go mid.

Can’t believe you guy’s are only now talking about Liam Ryan, he is a gun and outstanding WAFL player yes could definitely make it, but coming out of WA is he doesn’t have the desire to play AFL and the demands that come with it, very happy to run around the WAFL and do his thing with absolute class.

lionshine has been talking about him since this time last year and I jumped on the bandwagon soon after, with him going to the state combine and recording a really good sprint and vertical leap along with a better than expected yo yo test I would love to see us take him if possible. Tim Kelly would be great as well, it will be interesting to see how many draft picks we take into draft night.

Injuries are the only reason draft prospect Adam Cerra isn't in the conversation to be this year's No.1 pick, says Essendon great Darren Bewick.
In eight seasons as coach of the TAC Cup side Eastern Ranges, Bewick rates the classy midfielder the equal of any player he's mentored - and that includes graduates of the quality of Jon Patton, Tom Boyd and Christian Petracca.
A knee complaint ruined the 17-year-old's 2016 campaign, while a shoulder injury in August ended this season prematurely.
With fellow ball-magnets Cameron Rayner and Luke Davies-Uniacke the nominal contenders to be taken first in November's NAB AFL Draft, Bewick believes whoever selects Cerra won't be left disappointed.
Cerra averaged 18 disposals for Vic Metro at the Under 18 championships, with a starring performance against Western Australia reaping 24 disposals, six tackles, five clearances and a goal.
"Adam is as good a player that has come through our program," Bewick told AFL Media.
"He got injured last year and he's had a few injuries this year, so if he'd played a full season he'd be right in contention for the No.1 pick.
"Boyd and Patton were No.1 picks, and Petracca was pick No.2, but Adam just has a great understanding of the game and his skills are at a high level.
"He can play inside and out, he can play half-back, and I put him forward one day and he kicked 3.5 in a half.
"He's a (future) 200-game player that's ready to play AFL football now."
North are into Stephensen for sure......he has trained there n they like him and he likes them(even tho he follows us)Looks like it's too hard to trade up this year, so Cerra is probably not making it past St Kilda's picks (assuming he gets past North at 4). But hopefully if he falls, another good midfielder will too.
Can anyone tell me when the big Conole started as our draft guru?
So he was responsible for the large Josh intake a few yrs back2012
The one player I've liked throughout the year is Hunter Clark, particularly his hardness and overall attitude on the field. I have no idea where he is projected to go, but he is one I'd really like at the Lions.

At 1 stage we had Schache, Green, McGuinness, Watts and Clayton flying the Josh flag!Yeah. Think it was 3 of them in 2014 including Clayton.
Walker? At 1 stage we had Schache, Green, McGuinness, Watts and Clayton flying the Josh flag!
