What makes you so sure? Also the fact that we hold 15 and 18 plus dealt with clubs holding 12, 16 and 17 means there could be a handshake agreement. A bid would then have to come from before 14.Ballenden will get a top 20 bid.

Have you read anything about the Schache situation? If so, you'd know his sit is NOTHING like the others mentioned.
That will suck. And just make the trade period look even worse.Ballenden will get a top 20 bid.
Great n surprised if Bonar lasts to 15 or 18If I was taking an educated guess the top 20 may look like this:-
1. Lions: LDU
2. Frem: Hayes
3. Carl: Rayner (or Dow)
4. Nth: Stephenson
5. Frem: Naughtan
6. Coll: Brander (or Balta) need KPP
7. St K: Dow
8. St K: Cerra
9. WB: Coffield
10. Carl: Higgins
11. GWS: Brayshaw
12. Adel: Fogarty
13. WCE: Allen
14. Syd: Balta
15. Lions: Clark/Constable
16. WB: Garner
17. Rich: O'Brien
18. Lions: Constable/Worpel
Hence why I think that getting two of Clark, Constable, O'Brien or Worpel is a real possibility at 15 and 18.
I do believe that the top 12 looks set and that Frem will target Hayes and Naughton (real needs) with their top 2 picks.
Agree 100%, great post bill, we have all been deceived by the MSM/BF narrative, it gets repeated ad nauseam and then eventually the perception becomes accepted as the reality. Also the GH5 was a unique situation - our off field culture wasn't great. Since then it has vastly improved and we've lost just Aish (won the trade) and now Schache. Our retention is now on par with a lot of other clubs
Dodongo wants Stephenson at pick 1. Dodongo doesn't give a shit about what our team needs ability wise. Dodongo wants to draft a player who has the potential to be a gun, who won't get home sick.
Freemantle is the real wild card, it's so hard to know who they would take at pick 2. And pick 5. Realistically the top rated W.A. kid Aaron Naughton is rated closer to 20 than 10 on most big boards. They're going to have to draft at least one, if not two Victorian kids, and face the inevitable go home issues in a couple of years time.

Alright, I'm out, I have no idea beyond here
Wouldn't be surprised if Bonar goes a lot later than people think.
But who doesn't love a late Bonar?Wouldn't be surprised if Bonar goes a lot later than people think.
Mcstay has CHB locked down for the foreseeable future. Can't see us drafting Balta. Likely to draft the 3 best mids we can with our first 3 picksWould take Rayner 1
A mid at 15
Balta at 18
Gives spine Under 21 of Andrews, Balta, Ballenden, Hipwood and Under 21 mids Witherden, Keays, McLuggage, Berry and Rayner (plus pick #15)
I know I posted on the Pick 1 thread about character/interviews playing a very big part in who we draft but also believe that a big factor will be in kicking ability as per the majority of our early draft picks last year. I've got no idea really but LDU's short kicking game is pretty well on mark, Lochie O'Brien's left foot is very good and I also think that L.Fogarty will come into consideration.
1: LDU
15: O'Brien
18: L. Fogarty
Ballenden
Good mix of inside/outside mids + Ballenden. I'd be happy with a haul like that
It's a tough one. As you can see, there are a few fan favourites on the board. Dow and LDU and Stephensen probably the big ones.Hi Guys,
Just interested, has Brisbane given an indication of who they will most likely take at pick 1? Most of you seem to want LDU. I'd be stoked if Rayner slipped to us. Thanks.
