There really seem to be people here that think that drafting is about finding as many phantom drafts and getting the average of where each player finished, and then choosing players based on that.

Very much doubt Starcevich would have got past West Coasts picks in the early/mid 20s.

He's a tantalising package. Massive upside, ultra competitive, can play multiple positions.

Yeah, partly. I won't deny that. Not so much the phantom drafts, but following reports from throughout the year.

Rayner, Bailey and Starcevich. Fairly obvious we are targeting powerful midfielders. Going to be scary in 5 years time if they all develop. Wanted a high risk-high reward selection at 18 and Starcevich is perfect for mine.

A few people have said that this draft would be pretty unpredictable, and they were right. After the top 10 I don't think many predictions have been particularly close to the mark at all.
