Do you actually know that we will match or are you just guessing?Alright. Once again to rephrase, we will likely match any non top 5 pick bid on Ballenden.

I know they breed them tough at Coldstream. Has shown good form at Casey from all accounts. Does he have any pace?Bayley Fritsch still very much on our radar.

Geez we must have someone watching Casey pretty closely at the moment. That would be 2 in 2 years
Higgins I'm not a huge fan of and hope we grab someone with more upside and who fills a more pressing need. Will probably be a decent player at the next level but only so many of those we can have on the list.Pick 12 probably brings us within a realistic shot of nabbing Jack Higgins - yay
Makes sense. He has been invited to the State Combine so at least three clubs must have nominated him. He's got reasonable pace without being lightning.
We're not the only club interested in him. Just won the Fothergill-Round medal for best young talent in the vfl. Reads the play well, good left foot kick and a nice mark. Needs to continue to add to his frame though.
That's a fair concern but there's a lot to like about Higgins. Sounds like the hardest worker in the draft and someone with immense character, which reminds me of Berry - and I think we're pretty happy with how that's working outHiggins I'm not a huge fan of and hope we grab someone with more upside and who fills a more pressing need. The main concern would have to be that he might stand out due to superior fitness and professionalism more than anything. I've seen stuff about him leaving school, hiring a trainer etc. Tom Scully without the freakish endurance? That's a fair concern but there's a lot to like about Higgins. I think the idea that he has elevated himself because of his fulltime commitment to football this year is slightly exaggerated. He was a standout at U16 level and for Caulfield in the AGS comp as a 15 year old, well before he left school. Was playing first 18 footy for the school in year 10, as did another former CGS student by the name of Chris Judd (and as did Lachie Harris). I don't have any doubt Higgins will make it at AFL level, but whether he meets our needs is another issue. The main concern would have to be that he might stand out due to superior fitness and professionalism more than anything. Ah that would be a guess.Do you actually know that we will match or are you just guessing?
Guess probably. I "know" something quite different re Ballenden.Do you actually know that we will match or are you just guessing?
We're bottom of the ladder. Any player will meet our needs.I think the idea that he has elevated himself because of his fulltime commitment to football this year is slightly exaggerated. Especially given the Skinner situation, its a no brainer.Alright. Once again to rephrase, we will likely match any non top 5 pick bid on Ballenden.
Jayden Post come on downWe're bottom of the ladder. Any player will meet our needs.
Where Quigs, with 12?I hope we take a run at Adam Sambono.
Where Quigs, with 12?
I'm thinking the tigers might have a nibble with 15 or 16, then thinking he'd certainly not get past one of the GCS's [a Clayton special being a light fwd] at 19, 22 or 24?
Was thinking Rookie draft.
Stephenson making a few clubs reconsider their draft boards. Top 3 from what I've heard.
