You'd have to think Gold Coast by the length of the straight.
Next three are likely us, Carlton, North in no particular order.
Gold Coast drafting tall may depend on if Lynch stays. North would likely go tall (either forward or back), Carlton could go either way. So even at pick 4 we could get the best mid available.
I see Freo around the same mark as this year pending to injuries. Surprisingly, I do find it interesting that North have delisted a lot of their older players this year prior to a very healthy draft. Collingwood have also delisted a number of KPD's which no-one is really taking about. I don't see a lot of difference with teams movements in their areas of 6 (bottom, middle, top). Port have positioned themselves well and do think that's Melbourne will be smarting with their finish this year. WC will drop out of the 8.

If we can boost our ball winning ability in this draft id be more than happy to go with Walsh next year. Think he would balance our midfield well with 2 good ball winners this year along with Hugh.

A year is a long time with underagers but I don't see Rankine not going #1 overall, that kid is special. Maybe if Gold Coast lose Lynch they'd take Lukosius but even then I doubt it.

Which we will get in this draft and likely the next. Midfield isn't as far off as you'd think. Definitely missing pieces but those pieces are very attainable.

Could be an immensely dangerous combo. Love the leading and work rate of Lukosius. There's an awesome play from that SANFL prelim final where he leads right up the ground for an option, gets the ball moving to space and then manages to be open leading to space right in front of goal. Boggles the mind that it was a SANFL debut. Humungous potential. Kinda hoping he's outside our range though. He's a 1-2 talent. Would really be awesome if we could nail down two top ball winning midfielders from the top tier this draft, improve, move up the ladder and just be comfortable taking the best available rather than aiming for anyone.

I'd agree with you if Crows weren't desperately begging for our 2018 first rounder like a crack whore about to come down.
They can beg and plead, cajole, threaten and mutter all they like .
They are not getting our 2018 First uinder any circumstances.
