Brandon Starc, some more draftee pr0n:
Based on that he’s an excellent kick.
Might be inconsistent but he’s definitely capable of a beautiful kick.

Probably not. Behind the others already mentioned and we probably have enough developing midfielders. We can only take one. But, as Oskar Baker proved it only takes one good year in the NEAFL to change people’s opinions, so l’d say Bailey would need to do that.Is young Lambert possible? Impressed in a couple of NEAFL games I saw
We could have taken him at 41, when we took Wooller. We did ask for extra time at that pick, so it’s possible he was under discussion, but we could have been discussing another KPF.How close were we to getting Worpel?
But there is Qld zone which we used last year for Grewar... I don't think that is prelisted, but in theory I think that means we could take Walker or Keras or Copland, for example.
if gold coast wanted Keras... I'm not sure, i think it might come down to who drafts him first. dlanod might know?

The knock on Worpel would be his kicking, which I think was better than many suggest. Also with a mature body, he had an advantage in u18 that he wouldn’t have at AFL. bato might know if he was on our list.
Bailey was very impressive for the Allies at the national carnival. Would have been close to best on ground for the Allies in two games, Allies versus S.A. where we got towelled up by SA's underagers, and the tight win against Vic Metro, and I think it was Bailey's burst from stoppage and ball in to the forward 50 in the last minute set up the win. That footage of Bailey is very encouraging. It is apparently div 2 at the carnival though, so it comes with a slight caveat. Still very quick.

How many category b stops do we have?Qld zone is prelisted as well.
Academy gets first dibs, then after that it's a minidraft for Qld zone picks with lowest first, so Brisbane then Gold Coast then Brisbane, etc, while we've both got Cat B slots we want to pick. After that it's the actual rookie draft.
1How many category b stops do we have?
Just one, unless afl lets us have an extra Cat b spot for Eagles for more than one yr. There’s been no clarification on this, but it seems unlikely. Cat B: Eagles, Hanley (to be redrafted) and one Queensland zone selection, as discussed in this thread. How many category b stops do we have?
From what I recall, I *think* it was a few spots after Wooller. Gryan Miers was in between them. The knock on Worpel would be his kicking, which I think was better than many suggest. Do you know around what number we rated Wooller? From what I recall, I *think* it was a few spots after Wooller. Gryan Miers was in between them.

Thanks, really appreciate the info from the draft function. Great to have. Sounds like we would have taken Miers before Worpel, so were never close to taking Worpel as it panned out. From what I recall, I *think* it was a few spots after Wooller. Gryan Miers was in between them.

Some Zac Bailey footage, as always it's a small sample, but plenty to like.

You mean Petruccelle who went to West Coast at 38. Interesting, only just missed out. Thanks, Len.Petro.was our next...Wext Coast chipped in.

I think Eagles is a chance to crack the team early next season, his form in the last 6-7 games in the Neafl was sensational. If he could take fullback, Andrews could play CHB and McStay could go forward and rotate with Hipwood and Walker. I think either Payne or Eagles are legitimate chances to play regular senior footy next year. Let's see who runs into form over the preseason. Can't wait til our first preseason game next year already. It's interesting to see if Eagles can come on and take the 2nd kpd role. Frees McStay to play third or push fwd (or be left right out).
Would make a logjam for back line positions.
Rich could push to the midfield or Mayes to hff.
Looked really strong with ball in handsThose Starcevich highlights are very impressive. Actually looks to have more to offer than LDU.
Wouldn't be surprised to see Andrews trialed in the forwards if we can cover him at fullback.I think Eagles is a chance to crack the team early next season, his form in the last 6-7 games in the Neafl was sensational.
