I think it’s more just that it seems he is sliding and seems realistic he could be there at our picks now, sliding from the general consensus.
Stephenson would be a dream at 17, well worth any risk if he’s there.

Still holding hope for Oscar Allen at 17. Looks a solid pick
He is nothing like those blokes, big and slow who clunk grabs. Brander could start off as a wingman or HFF, like Roach did. He has played almost no TAC footy due to injuries last year and school/ representative footy this. So has little continuity as mentioned earlier. Had a few games at Bendigo late, but Bendigo were shot and finished on the bottom.
We decided to slip into something a little more Constable.

If brander is there at 17 which im starting to think may be a possibility he is our man kid has serious talent.. As mentioned by bishop and a few others he has had no continuity with his football this year has had to play defence more often than not when the kid is clearly a CHF.. A few years learning from jack and we will have our self a gem

We have been saying it for months that Naish wont go before our #25 (or 21st rounders prior to trade)
Clubs dont cough up a totally outside player that doesnt win his own ball and is 'Iffy' kick without Elite pace , If his name wasnt Naish or connected to Richmond then he wouldnt be ranked anywhere sub 30 and more like 40'
Lets hope it all pans out well for us on friday and we get a pleasant suprise

I'm pretty sure I had us taking Brander months ago and got laughed at- pretty confident it happens.
CCJ we've liked for a long time, I personally don't like him - so we'll see how that plays out.
We're doing our due diligence on Stephenson, my gut feel is if he was there at 25 & all our other picks went as we hope that he gets snapped up there - but it'll all come down to the medical staff.
****! How serious is Stephenson’s heart condition? Is it another Josh Toy?
