Hayes, let him develop in the VFL for 3-4 years. He has plenty of time to build an AFL tank.

First off jizz at Twomeys phantom. He may have no idea on the actual kids but his phantoms are historically pretty accurate.

make it easy, if you are lucky enough to be a father son you should be able to play for your dad's club if you want, if someone bids you should just have to give your first pick after the bid regardless of what number your pick is forget the points.

Nope the system now is quite good. It does need tweaks, such as f/s should get a greater discount as they are rarer then academy players. 25% for f/s and 15% academy

Knightmare does great write ups but is completely swayed by Collingwood a opinions on kids. And look at his last power rankings to see massive changes in rankings from October to November when no games were played.

So this happens november 24th, then a shit load of new tiger babies will be conceived 9 months from this date.

If we get 2 players at 17 & 20 plus Naish who can make more immediate impacts there is plenty of time for Hayes to develop. We’ve still got guys like Bolton, Markov, CEllis and Menadue to make impacts next year too.

Very few rucks are "ready to go" in thier 1st season tho. In any case if Nank stays fit next yr there may not be a spot in the side next yr for him. Drafting is looking for 10 yr players not always "next yr" players tho that is what we'd like from 1st rd selections.

If we get 2 players at 17 & 20 plus Naish who can make more immediate impacts there is plenty of time for Hayes to develop. We’ve still got guys like Bolton, Markov, CEllis and Menadue to make impacts next year too.

You make a good point here, there is no shortage of younger players to come into the side next yr. in the Draft we can add 3/4 (depending on Naish bid) kids to add to that list for the future. our list is in a great spot

I’d take both and Brander. I think we would be mad not to seriously consider taking 3 of the best KPP’s in the draft if they fall to us.

Remember, a year ago this was a really strong KPP group according to the experts.

twomey's record after picks #10-#12 is not very good and is only accurate in the first dozen players where his info gets him through , When you get to #17 there is way too many variables

I dont understand the story around Stephensons heart.
If it was that bad would he be playing currently?
I think with our picks he is worth the risk if he is there.
Brander is the must IMO. Then we can take a risk on Stephenson/Balta/Hayes

Would prefer Ballard over Hayes or CCJ. Go after a ruck with our last pick as most ruckman aren't highly drafted anyways

The way i look at it if his heart condition is not a huge problem teams like GWS,Crows,Bulldogs all with picks before wouldnt let him slide

If he does slide to our range then there must be alot more to it and then it becomes a 'Risk/Reward' assessment and will the Richmond football club take that risk - We might with having 3 picks but it would all depend on what the heart issue is
