Stephenson apparently unlikely now. Both West Coast and Swans will take him if Collingwood doesn't. Looks like we'll get one of Higgins, Obrien and Murphy depending on who slips through to 17, and then take talls at 20 and 25

Looking at the Fox phantom with us taking LOB, for the draft gurus is that a wise pick? I'm not oppose to taking best available then picking up brander at 20, but from by (limited) reading, LOB just appears to be a slightly better Naish and we don't really have a need for one of those let alone 2. Is this accurate?

Given where our picks are & coming off a flag, it's a gamble we can afford to take.

Brander chose footy over cricket to. Scholarship to Geelong was cricket based, brilliant bowler.

looking at his highlights vid, he doesn't really excite me at all. Needless to say, he has no pressure around him when he gets uncontested possessions.
Hoping our recruiters are well aware and will back them. Much more excited about Brander, and would prefer Bailey.

Jacob Hopper was drafted early with an exsiting heart problem, and has played good football. Maybe Stephensons issues are more serious but medical procedures are so good these days that as long as it's not extremely serious I'd be snapping him up if available

Is that right about hopper, I actually don't think he has set the world on fire and questioned the early wraps , plenty of time I spose but he doesn't look A grade material yet
