Kid had a knee issue because a player fell across his leg pretty heavily and needed a knee re construction, It was not done properly and had to be done again but this time by the best in the business - He came back and stepped straight in no issue

I think we're pretty good for outside pace, Rioli should develop into a midfielder, plus Bolton & Menadue to come into the side next year as well. Markov isn't slow and Naish should help in that area too.

was interesting in the grand final - can't remember exactly who said this, but apparently when griggs gave nank a chop-out in the ruck, we broke even in the clearances (or maybe even won them, correct me if i'm wrong though) despite jacobs having an obvious height advantage.

that's only one example, but i reckon you might be right - the game is getting smaller and faster, and teams seem to be looking at ways to play an undersized ruckman in order to keep up with the frenetic pace of the modern game.

as you say, there's still a place in the game for talented rucks, so i wouldn't be disappointed if we took hayes with one of our picks. his endurance put me off initally, but having thought about it, he could be a steal if developed well - looks to be very skillful. hopefully, though, if we do take him it's because he was best available, and not just because he's a ruck. i'll back the recruiters in though, done a great job in recent years.

bonar at 17 would be great, but i reckon maybe someone else will pull the trigger earlier

That was all I needed. I know it's only highlights but the bloke looks a gun. Clean as in the packs, strong and always gets the hands free. Overhead marking is awesome too. Kicks goals. I can now see the hype

While I don't totally agree with his assessment this time around, I saw he mentioned Ben Patton, if we still have those picks in the 50s as live ones on draft night I'd be happy to pick Patton up then, good player, tiges man too.

Yes but the trauma to the joint would be the equivalent of 2 ie 2 sets of grafts, 2 lots of screws, 2 lots of thru holes, 2 sets of tendons.
