That Elton drum-up was one of the most delusional things I've ever heard.

I think he said something like, at times I dominated at both levels.



Makes me not like him to be honest.

If had just said, "I am a mature body, willing to work hard, which is why I would be a good fit for a new club."

Lots of pundits saying we should take Hayes. Why would we take a ruck man with our first pick when we have a 23 year old ruck man who just had a great season in Nankervis. Do we use a first round pick as backup? Rather not.

We do need a back up

But Hayes endurance is more of a concern to me than picking him as a back up tuck.

Seems to me there are ample ruck man around when you need one, Maric, Nankervis, so get one cheap when we need one.
We have backup in Soldo, Griffiths and Hampson. A few games each will be plenty of rest for Nankervis.

None of them are any good as sole rucks and we will be in trouble if Nank goes down for any length of time. Also Hayes has some ability as a KPF, he kicked 6 in a half as a forward in TAC this year.

Sydney always have decent ruckman available, when they lost Nank they went and drafted Darcy Cameron.

That being said i'm not sold on Hayes and would rather us look at a 21-24 yr old ruck dominating state leagues.

That was a good pickup, I have been going on abour Cameron for 3 years and finally kid gets a go but gets injured

He is the type of Ruckman we should be targeting , Im not a fan of picking up Ruckman with early picks but #25 is not really early i suppose
