yeah not sure why people are happy to be playing the saints and freo twice. the saints will be again banging down the door to get into the top 8 and freo were obviously tanking once they lost fyfe and sandilands. they have done a west coast of a few years ago. they will bounce straight back next year.

definitely not the bullshit 'dream draw' the herald sun made it out to be.

Why the **** are we back to playing away games in geelong?
91 million dollars and the seating will be increased from 32,000 to 36,000 whoop whoop what a joke

Pretty reasonable draw I reckon. GWS * 2 is both a curse and a blessing. Likely to lose, but you can't hide. So they will show where we actually stand. Freo and StK I'm not sure on. Both could/should improve. But I also think they are not that good.

Overall. Not too bad.

Good fixture but why do carl, haw, coll and carl not play in geel for 15-20 years while we play there 15 times over that period? Also, we have played north about 4 times at the G in 12 years. Afl need to look back more than 2 years ;)

AFL looking after the minnows.

Wonder how the club will react for those of us with 16 game memberships?

Six interstate trips and a game at Pussy Park. As the Pussy Park game is game 16, and as we were shafted last time, Geelong should be forced this time to provide seating for EVERY 16 game membership holder, irrespective for what Geelong or their supporters think.

In other words **** the fans/members

RICHMOND SNUBBED

Richmond's favourable line-up on the field will come at a cost to the club's coffers with the Tigers receiving only two Thursday night games. They are in Rounds 1 and 2.

Richmond will not feature in a single Friday night game next year. Fremantle received zero as well.

It is a major change from last season when the Tigers were given eight Thursday and Friday night games in total.

The league today said the fixture rewards teams' strong on-field performance and would not hand-out prime time blockbusters to traditional powerhouse Melbourne clubs based on the size of their fan bases.

Just laugh. Ratings and Profits will be down again. AFL only have themselves to blame. :D

We will smash the cats infront of 30k of their own bogan fans

delcious
We will be 3-5 by round 8 then we can tank again , I'm trying to get odds for that scenario

My Friday nights are freed up, not to disappointed about that but my Saturdays and Sundays will be full next year. I like to get to the Saturday and Sunday afternoon games when I can. :D

No overseas trip planned next year so I can get to more games, Home or Away.

Overall, remove the KP game and it's a fantastic draw and if i was a tiger player i would be jumping out of my skin with excitement. Remember we have to start a season well eventually. ;)
See my previous post

Hahahahah thats so shit

us playing at Simmonds what a bloody joke

we were top in crowds last year and second this year :drunk:
One of my best mates barracks for the Cats and I hang for the chance to get down to Kardinia Park with him and have a few brews in th elocal pubs beforehand.
Not as good as it was when the Cattery was the last AFL venue to continue serving beer in cans, but it'll still do.
I have no qualms going to Kardinia Park.

The non good friday eve Carltooon thursday night game wont draw over 76k

the following week we have the magpoos on good friday eve that will draw great but the pies fans wont show up again due to getting gaped in rd 1 (this time by footscray)

2) no shit we cop a shit draw after finishing 13th

3) This ain't a soft run either, cats at cat park, dogs and Kangas at etihad, gws/gc/crows/port all away. We willo well to win 10

The usual Rd 1 loss to the scum hurts morale but we won it this year.
Rd 2 loss to Pies was the killer this season IMO.
Winning both would be a pleasant way to start.

why on earth would they schedule us to play the pies on thursday night in rd 2 if its not a public holiday the next day ?

also why schcedule the season opener on Thursday night if its not a public holiday the next day aswell? it just removes bums from seats

Common this is a dead set joke . I m emailing the club about why the heck they put up with being sent down to the cattery almost every season . We have 70,000 members . It is a disgrace as 20 others have already stated . As a club and supporter base we constantly get shat on by farking Every campaigner . do we deserve any better ? Probably not unfortunately .
