fyfe will do well next year as captain and mundy will star as well with the shackles of the captaincy released from his shoulders, clearly was the wrong choice for captain this year

It's purely economics isn't it? VIC teams would pay less money to play at Etihad vs MCG against a low drawing club such as Fremantle? It's going to be even rarer to get a game at the MCG now that the AFL own Etihad.

The integrity and fairness of a sports competition should never be influenced by the "economics". . It is something the VFL refuses to acknowledge.
