What happened to the heritage round where they made special guernseys? Would love the old red green white purple jumper with the anchor. Would love it even more if for that game we had the anchor lifting ceremony pre-game.

It took a superhuman effort from Dangerfield to drag them over the line against us this years sans most of those guys. Quietly confident we can get it done if we're near full strength.

No Northern Territory game for Fremantle next year. Melbourne are playing Gold Coast in Alice Springs and Adelaide in Darwin.

Hope so, last 2 years they have only given us 1 game against each other which kind of muddys that little rivalry we had going on, especially when you were shit in 2015 and we were shit in 2016. Hopefully we are both good again and can have some ripper matches

Just because you play one WA team somewhere on year it bears no relevance to the next years fixtures. Of the top 6 we are far more likely to play either GWS or Adelaide twice (being non Victorian) than Geelong.

Not sure we'll have two consecutive years of playing you in WA and WCE in Vic. They're more likely to rotate it IMO, in which case it would mean a return game. We don't often seem to get the Eagles in Geelong either (2016 was only the second time in 6 years).

Then again, you always cop the Launceston trip whilst the Eagles escape it. AFL fixturing is seldom consistent.

The Mitchell factor means we'll get Hawthorn at the MCG if we play them away next year. And North at Etihad is rd 1. We avoid it again
