Dahlhaus, Miller and Heeney early locks for me this year. Every year there is always a few guys that come out of no where and average 105+ through the forward group, might just have to look a little bit harder through the preseason comp

True. If you went largely with fwd rookies you could load up with 6 or 7 of danger/hannebery/fyfe/jpk/selwood/parker/gray/martin etc etc from the start which could pay off hugely. Would be super risky though.

Lids has the old man achilles stuff i will stay well clear. Higgins has a bad durability record and with north on the downslope i wont touch him. JJK can go 150 against poor teams but is too inconsistent against good teams to be a real premo. Betts is good but has a few in that forward line that will take points off him. Nroo is a gun but will he keep his scores up if they play him on the wing?

A renewed invigorated Lids is the best fwd available bar none
NRoo played wing last season, was pretty handy

Achilles once you are 30 is very bad i know people will pick lids as he wont get tagged there but i wont risk it injuries killed me last year.

JJK is enough of a flat track bully to keep his overall avg up but is just as likely to throw in a 50 in a league final which kills you as a premo. I wont do it but props to those with the courage.

Seems quite arbitrary this 35% percentage. Why not 60:40, or 51:49, or 70:30?
