Don't get that... Very rare for a second year player to produce scores that warrant keeping, and still think he will play a large amount of time forward therefore will be up and down.
He's definitely the next premo gun of the future. So tempting
Definitely a gun of the future however I think this year we'd be jumping the gun. Dees actually have a reasonably deep midfield too now. Worth waiting for next year or beyond. He's very efficient with ball in hand. Contested beast goal kicking, smart IQ.

Petracca 9% ownership![]()
With CEY out and crows midfield underdone does Knight become anymore SC relevant?
More so Wigg and Hampton do.
Surprised his ownership is that high. Almost 400k and almost no chance of being a keeper.
- Tonned up just twice last year with a highest score of 105
- Still seems his tank is a bit small
- Mid competition in Melbourne is fierce
Only things going for him are his special skills and his big score in the preseason game which will almost certainly be a one off.
I know he's not a mid but you could get someone like Swallow with a much better scoring history for 120k cheaper.
People paying far too much attention to pre season games.
+1.I'll be interested to see who scores more out of Petracca and Heeney. They were the same draft and had injury interrupted first seasons. Petracca more so. There's not a lot of price difference. I currently have Heeney won't be selecting both.
Petracca is a real chance to breakout and has a real SuperCoach game but unless something big happens between now and round one I'll be going Heeney.

Or maybe people saw something that suggests that he will take the next step this year?
I saw it and I'm sure thousands of others saw how dominant he was too. It wasn't the points, it was the way he played and how that translates into SC points.
Almost no chance of being a keeper? Comon man, that is ridiculous.
Third year in the system though.Don't get that... Very rare for a second year player to produce scores that warrant keeping, and still think he will play a large amount of time forward therefore will be up and down.
At 40k cheap I think you may be right. He'll certainly get more midfield minutes and Good has pretty much said Petracca will be mainly forward. I feel Brayshaw will have a good year this year and could be a good choice. Only 2% ownership at this stage. Has averaged 82 so far in JLT which doesn't mean much but he's on the right track.Brayshaw surely a waaay better option?
40k cheaper,
Same or probably better prospects for midfield minutes
Dpp
Zak Jones, Heeney will share the duties. How confident are we that Heeney will be taking Mitchell's spot in that midfield? He's so good as a forward I feel like the Swans might put a more limited midfielder in the guts.

West Adelaidegenuine reason, but im not soldReally thinking of having Petracca as my F4 ? ......Melbourne are going to have a good year, and good sides have good SC point scorers (generally)
Am i being seduced by one JLT game ? ....or is there genuine reason for SC optimism? ....Melbourne watchers comment please?
West AdelaideVery fair comment .....i'll wait another game thengenuine reason, but im not sold
got 19 and 4 against a lethargic Carlton side
You could say it's so 2006-2016.Whatever happened to guys preaching "will get injured". Or is that so 2015?
Had him in my side 2015. Was actually quite handy to flick between FWD and DEF during trades. Gave lots of options when upgrading, while filing gaps. Yo-yo but got job done. You could say it's so 2006-2016.
Yeah I started with him too, he was one of my better starters in a shocking year for me.Had him in my side 2015. Was actually quite handy to flick between FWD and DEF during trades. Gave lots of options when upgrading, while filing gaps. Yo-yo but got job done.

A mate connected to the club said he has had a monster pre-season. Which I assume would help a lot.Really thinking of having Petracca as my F4 ? ......Melbourne are going to have a good year, and good sides have good SC point scorers (generally)
