.. and 40-150 any given week. Where the wheel stops, no body knows!Supercoach is always more fun with Buddy in your side!..
you'll get anywhere between 90-105 average..
I agree. However if he tears it up against WCE tomorrow night he will become mighty temptingPetracca at 14% ownership. Too high in my opinion. I'd love to see him have a massive year and think he's capable but could be a risky pick from week to week.
Wingards bloody hard to get a read on. Seems to be some intangible I cannot figure out as to why he'll go 80 or 100.
I don't think a midfield move is the definitive answer as he seems to do his best work SC wise when he sniffs a sausage roll. However over a 12 round period last year he averaged nearly 3 goals & 17 possessions but only 90 SC. When he gets a combination of 18-22 possessions & 0-2 goals he historically averages 90 so a full time midfield move if it affects his goal output doesn't suggest anywhere near a 100 average either.
Everytime he has had 23+ possessions he has had 4-5 shots at goal a game as well. Would he maintain that output playing full time midfield or are they just games where he bothered to turn up? Did he play injured last year? Motivational issues? He seems to be very hot and cold.
Search 'nankervis' on this board, you will find he has been discussed a lotWhat are peoples thought on Nankervis? Can cover the ruck as this opens DPP. Will be Richmonds number one ruck.
IMO Port will be forced to play Wingard up forward for 90% of the game. We are struggling to kick goals and we need our best players up forward. I think there are other options that we can use in the midfield before Wingard gets a run in there. He has played mostly as a forward over the last 4 years, in every one of those years it always gets trotted out in the preseason that he'll move into the middle but it never happens, he is far too valuable as a forward and IMO his role wont change this year either.
Also I don't think he is as inconsistent as people make out. In both 2014 & 16 he actually got injured early on in the year and played catch up after that. (2014 ankle, 2016 hammy)
I've had him in my side since last year and he hasn't moved since. I don't think he will break the 100 average, in fact probably only 3-4 (FWD) players look like doing that this year but I see a 95 ball park average this year if he stays fit.

The hamstring injury in the 1st showdown in round 2 last year, really set Wingard back. I don't think he ever got over it. He was not the same player he was in 13-15.

BillingsBillings, heeney, higgins, or wingard? My gut is telling me higgins
Any reason? More midfield time? I haven't been following him during the off seasonBillings

Yep.Any reason? More midfield time? I haven't been following him during the off season
Where was he playing last year?Yep.
Very solid JLT thus far, if he kills it this weekend against the Swans he'd have to be considered.
Half forward/wing.Where was he playing last year?
Notoriously inconsistent ......huge risk IMOHeeney has glandular fever
Wingards a spud in a spud side
Where was he playing last year?
Half forward/wing.
Started well against Pies & Hawks playing mid, the penny seems to have dropped with him though, there's intensity that I haven't seen before.
