Motlop has a history of performing his best in contract years and this is a big contract year for him.

What was really interesting was that the Tigers went at a 63% winning clip with Lids vs 21% without him 2012-2016 if my maths are right (55% overall).
Correlation does not imply causation, confounding factors etc., but I'm going to go out on a limb and say it - the bloke can clearly play football.

I don't think I've seen Roo in one team yet. He's old AF but he's less of an injury risk than someone like Deledio. Has he had any post season surgery or anything?

Nope. All clear I believe.

The top 4 in your list will go 90-100

Touk Touk has potential to average ~90 if he gets solid midfield time

The bottom 5 will go 70-80

Tossing up between Heeney and Caddy atm.....I reckon Heeney has the capabilities to have a massive break out year but at the same time I reckon Caddy could go big considering how weak the Tigers midfield is so he should get a lot more midfield time!!

There is no reason Caddy couldn't go 100-110 for a season playing center square. Put up some huge scores in 2015.
At least even money the Tiges break him though, so too risky IMHO

Josh Caddy is an interesting one. Looked like he was about to go to the next level and Danger arrived at Geelong. Bit concerning his durability but chance to average 95+

Apparently big Rough was looking in very good nic at the recent Hawks training camp in QLD. Was being a boss. I think my speculative Touk Miller may get the boot, if Rough is named R1. (Clarko will not play him unless he is right to go)

Big Rough is on the watchlist. A 90+ average for player priced at $367k is very tempting. Problem is I have Bennell/Miller/Heeney all on standby for the same position. Each of these players have strong for and against attributes.

Caddy will get more mid time but questionable durability. Has the round 12 bye which is also handy. I don't think I'll start Caddy but will probably look to bring him in, starting at 488k and I don't think he'll go up in price too much throughout the year.
