Am I the only one who thinks Lids will struggle to average 90?

I reckon he's getting nowhere near the middle, has a spot at CHF cemented.

The Giants are primed for a crack at the flag, Lids is the game winner they need, even the slightest tightness or pain and he'll get the week off.

14-16 games, 85-90 average imo

He pretty much played exclusively forward his last 2 years at the tigs, if that changes your thinking at all

Not in my team and I will not start him, but think he'll be a worthy upgrade if they get him right mid season.

HF is by far his best position, scores better there than in the middle or HBF. Think he'll easily be the highest averaging fwd, games played will be the killer.

I'm not so sure.
CD love guys who win/influence games and Richmonds win loss record with Lids is damning but explains his premo scoring.
GWS don't need him. He will probably win a flag with them in the next two years and definitely nake an impact but for him to go back to his 120 averaging days he would have to out perform the likes of Shiel Shaw Cogs Griffen Scully Mummy Ward Smith StevieJ even Tobias.

I see him playing the same role as his last years at Richmond but without being the only guy orher than Rance or Dusty who wins them the game. So those 120s become 95-100.

Reckon he plays 18 games. Just dont trust thise calves.

Huge +1 to this. Lids is there for his experiance and class at the pointy end of the year - GWS will be finals contenders again in 2017, and that's without him on the park. Given his recent injury history, I full expect them to take a cautious rest-as-we-go approach throughout the season, particularly for travel games (and allowing them to pump games into other players). I think his class still sees him get 90+ (perhaps only just, due to rotations), but a huge resting risk when the team travels.

I don't forget how good he is as a player. Elite.
My argument is that his SC scoring will no longer be elite surrounded by more elite tallent than he was up against at Richmond.

It does seem a bit mad but he's averaged about 95ppg the last few seasons and I can't see why he can't get back to that. Should benefit from more ruck time and new 3rd man up rule which could get him to 100+. If he can play 20 games at 100+ he is in elite sc forward territory. Only Roo went at 20+ and 100+ last year of this years forwards.
