Will get more mid time this year with Crameri/Cloke in the forwards now as well.

So he'll take Bont and Dolls points
He didn't say he'd take their statsNo because he plays more outside mid, Bont and Dahl are more inside.

BTW. Go easy on me. I'm a bit precious![]()
JJK will be the top forward this year - you heard it here.
He'll be fed 85+ goals by Mitchell, Priddis, Shuey and Gaff, and top it off with several 140+ scores in 2017.
Reasons I'm not taking Roughead :
I can see why a lot of people are keen on him to balance their forward spend due to the lack of rookies. he is a gun player and one of my all time favourites, but I don't think he's a good SC selection in 2017.
- Our list is 98% fit (Ceglar ACL)
- ^^ We will manage Rough, we did okay without him last year. Plenty of talls who can play forward and kick goals. Plenty of medium/shorts as well.
- ^^^ We are aiming for top 4 again, and why wouldn't we? If we make the finals, a rested and prepared list is the key.
- He is returning from immunotherapy. While nobody knows the exact impact it will have, it will surely have some impact. Getting up and ready for an AFL match week to week is hard enough for some players who are 100% fit.
- He's not THAT cheap. If he scores at a 73 average, his price will sit at 367k until his bye. If he scores at 85, he'll only profit 50k until his bye and leave you scratching your head.
As soon as Rough misses, and he will miss, you'll be taking a rookie score. Even if he does average 93, that rookie score will bring Rougheads perceived average down 4-5 points per game missed ( as you will likely be copping a 60-65 from a rookie ).

...or bothGreat analysis. I think that same mentality should apply to all mid-pricers. They are either there to be a keeper or a stepping stone and according to what you've worked out Roughead may very well work out to be neither.
Think everyone on here is underestimating Taberner, has the potential to be the #1 forward in the AFL.
I just said... Taberner. Will dalhouse be the number 1 foward?
