Avoided even considering Higgins all preseason and now he's in my team.
Please tell me there is someone else at his price with better scoring potential?

Looking back at his seasons in hindsight, there were only 2 seasons where he was actually a good player to start with. In the other 9 he's been an inconsistent turd that puts out mediocre scores and misses far too many games.
players with better scoring potential at his price?
Miller, Ryder, Billings, Roughead, Nankervis, Steele,
shit, id even take a punt on Jesse Hogan before Higgins.

Knowing my SC luck you are probably right friend....or both
My bad.
I meant the players I didn't have in my team, I ruled out Touk and Billings is just out of reach.

Not as excited for Steele as some others.
For me, he just blew up against a woeful Carlton and a workman-like Sydney.
Maybe I'm just jaded about pre-season 'breakout stars' though after getting burnt so many times before.
Will average 102
Steele is going get minutes running through the midfieldLooking at Petracca. Immeasurable talent. Surely a better option than Steele?
Steele is going get minutes running through the midfield
Trac will play as a forward, his points will come from 3/4/5 goal hauls with 20 touches
Not yet imo
I just have a gut feeling Steele will let everyone down.....well I hope so hahaSteele or Billings.
Cant really decide on who will go bang, so upping my price and putting another premo in.

Miles played 10 games in 2 seasons at GWS averaging 72 (7 games) and 57 (3 games) in his first two seasons. Then got traded to Richmond and averaged 99.9. It can happen, and it any one can do it, it's the fringe GWS players moving clubs.Wouldn't be the first 3rd year player to tease in the preseason. But struggle to see a 25-30 ppg improvement from a kid that has only played 17 games. And to bring him in you would really want him to be averaging high 80's or 90's.
Billings is more tempting as far as being able to increase his score, but he is at a very awkward price, where he will put you on the back foot in a big way if he doesnt come out in the first 5-6 games and average over 90.

Get rid of Higgins and grab Greene and Macrae1 decision for my team left. Just trying to lock down the spot at F2. Down to Lance Franklin, jack Macrae, Tom Lynch (GC) and Toby Greene. Luke Dahlhaus, Shaun Higgins, Jarryd Roughead, Tim Taranto, Dan Butler, Dan Houstan and Brett Eddy is the rest of my forwardline.
Best bet for top 6 is Macrae
Highest potential average is Greene
POD is Tom Lynch
Go with the norm and pick Franklin.
Thoughts?
