Absolutely they would already have a clear idea. Top 2 pick is gold.I remember we specifically asked for a pick inside the top 4 from GC for Weller
Makes me think Lloyd & co already have their picks in mind

TBH they could do worse. Two extractors and one speedy outside mid with an excellent kick.

Thing i read was he wasnt part of their ago bracket. Strange though hes quite young. Why did North delist him? Alarm bells when a 25yo is getting delisted from a club like NM.
So reading between the lines... they want to give Gold Coast a run for their money with pick #1 next year. The battle for the spoon could be more fierce than the premiership next year.Thing i read was he wasnt part of their ago bracket. Strange though hes quite young.
On the off chance anyone from the recruiting team reads this forum I would like some help in keeping that Farrant kid from down Bunbury way’s name in the rookie or late pick discussions

With the amount of talent GC have they really shouldn't be finishing bottom. I know they have lost almost their entire midfield but still. So reading between the lines... they want to give Gold Coast a run for their money with pick #1 next year. LOL I was trying to "sssshh you" so we could get him with a late pick
Blaine Boekhorst one year contract anyone ?
Look like everybody as DFA are pretty spud , don't mind jack trengove but he is a bit slow .I’d rather Ramsay. Boekhorst is on Danyle Pearce levels of spud.

My strategy for DFA will be let them wait until Rookie draft.I’m not as keen on DFAs as most. There’s no Barlow or Henderson types that have been cut but would be best 22 at a few clubs this year. There might be a Hamling type who just needs more of a chance but that’s about it and personally I can’t see it looking at available players right now.
The reason I’d be leaning towards Ramsay if I had to pick one is that he was considered AFL material not long ago but injuries ruined him.
Most of the guys available would just sit on the list giving Peel 1-2 years service and then getting cut for little to no gain for freo. I would draft a mixture of mature agers and kids from pick 42 onwards. If we can get 2-3 B Graders from those 5-6 players it’s a decent result if we nail picks 2&5.
The fun pick would be Lamb and for him to go on to average 20 quality touches with 2 goals a game.
