Thing i read was he wasnt part of their ago bracket. Strange though hes quite young.
So reading between the lines... they want to give Gold Coast a run for their money with pick #1 next year. The battle for the spoon could be more fierce than the premiership next year.

Look like everybody as DFA are pretty spud , don't mind jack trengove but he is a bit slow .
I’m not as keen on DFAs as most. There’s no Barlow or Henderson types that have been cut but would be best 22 at a few clubs this year. There might be a Hamling type who just needs more of a chance but that’s about it and personally I can’t see it looking at available players right now.
The reason I’d be leaning towards Ramsay if I had to pick one is that he was considered AFL material not long ago but injuries ruined him.
Most of the guys available would just sit on the list giving Peel 1-2 years service and then getting cut for little to no gain for freo. I would draft a mixture of mature agers and kids from pick 42 onwards. If we can get 2-3 B Graders from those 5-6 players it’s a decent result if we nail picks 2&5.
