Never expected to beat Port in a flat track contest, but what was dished up from Gold Coast is one of the more abysmal performances I've seen in professional sport. Absolutely heartless. Seriously what's the point of this club? Why continue forward with it? all the top 10 draft picks in the world and can only muster 5 scoring shots in a whole game. Players don't give a shit, ex-captain could care less about the club....why should any fans give a shit about them or even respect them? Get rid of them and put in team in that might actually give a ****.
Need a tassie club.

Interesring debate on main board.

When do you classify a win against a top 8 side? When you are playing them or when positions are done at the end of the year?
It's a bit of both.

I see it as a win against any team that was realistically in the finals hunt with 2-3 rounds to go, tbh.

Some years, that's 8 teams (even less, in those years where 8th is a piece of shit that falls across the line).

This year, it's 13.

**** me dead, what an insipid effort from the Suns - at least Carlton fought hard for 3 quarters.

Need Richmond to do a Richmond tomorrow. Really would prefer Melbourne or West Coast to the drug cheats.

To put our run into perspective. We went 14-2 after the 0-6 start and could have dropped another 2 games and still would have made finals.

We're primed and ready to go. Apart from having to play an extra game against 7/8 placed team, for me the real finals start week 2 of finals where we'll be up against genuine contenders.

Given our form over the last 16 weeks, I back us to beat any team. We have our destiny in our own hands and the break before finals will work in our favour. Just need our best to remain injury free and We're in the box seat. Adelaide the only team capable of beating us imo but if we bring our best we could put them away early like we did in last year's finals series.

To make that even more impressive, 2007 included the following games at Homebush.

Rd 1 v WCE - 62,586
Rd 12 v Collingwood - 64,222
Rd 19 v Saints - 63,369

Going to the Richmond match today as my father and uncle are St Kilda and Richmond supporters respectively. Just found out that the tickets my uncle has bought has us sitting right in the middle of the tiger army at the Punt Rd end. Praying for a saints win as the melts at the ground should be unforgettable. Pray for me if Richmond gets up. Will be unbearable.
