Junktime Joel was a marvel. He got in on the HBF uncontested marks/kick-to-kick thing before it was commonplace. Routinely had double-figure marks when that was a really noteworthy accomplishment.

If you were building a real team you would take Presti over Bowden every day of the week.
BS , he was a top afl player at least, not elite but at least 'good' he was a two time AA winner, smart player, best and fairest winner, you dont get that by being not good

How much for a good mid rookie that could average a solid 80. Thought SPP could be that but just another dissapointment.
Id kill to get a viney or wines at least they tonned up a few times both did in their first game.

Forget Wines and Viney, Michael Barlow at $120k, the greatest rookie we've ever had and that we will ever have. Was on track to average 120 in his rookie season before Rhys Palmer destroyed his leg and our hearts. 151 and 139 in his first two games, those that didn't start with him should of quit for good after round 2.

True, only positive if I remember correctly is that barlow was 550k or so when it happened so he was pretty much a sideways trade to another premo
Wouldnt mind him listed as a def this yr.
Not travelling too badly.
Bowden was also an essential for awhile but not in Goddards league....Bowden didnt even attempt to hide the junktime orgy. You could see him ask the guy across field to give it straight back. Oink Oink.
