So according to Ross "sandi is touch and go".
4 weeks with hamstring tightenness.......

Nah it's been reported as hamstring tendonitis. I think only a couple of reports have actually mentioned that - which makes sense in that it's not a 'big' injury but it's just a bit of irritation that's hanging around.

Michael Apeness Knee Season
Hayden Ballantyne Hamstring Test
Harley Bennell Calf 2-3 weeks
Zac Clarke* Knee TBC
Brady Grey Hamstring 1-2 weeks
Ed Langdon Knee Test
Alex Pearce Leg TBC
Aaron Sandilands Hamstring Test
Matthew Uebergang Hamstring TBC

Edit: I swear to god I formatted this so it was more legible but Bigfooty seems to have ignored my hard work

We have a fats rats chance of beating Geelong at skilled on current form. Better to rest him for another week and bring him back against that pack of Ross Lyon haters

Tend to agree. Throw Darcy to the Wolves... or in this case, the Cats.

You guys were tricked by the AFL.com.au injury list again. They usually just guess it if Freo is running late.

The give away was that Bennell's ETA went down by an entire week.

So from the first report of worst case scenario (10 weeks) we have now done 10 weeks.

Still have 3 weeks to run which means 6 weeks, yeah sure we might get him ready for the Peel finals!

When Bennell is back, how long will he stay in the 2nds before joining the 1sts?

Can we expect him to play afl games by lets say round 19/20?

I have a sneaky feeling once (and if) he's ready to go it'll be straight to the firsts.
Think you're confused with Bennelltyne :p

In seriousness, RTB did mention they may just bring him straight back earlier this year. His skills and talent are undeniable.

So much for having to earn games hey!

Without injuries, i'ld say that's more than achievable. Train for another 3 weeks, play 2 WAFLOL games, back in seniors by rnd 19. Fingers crossed Alex Pearce can join him too.

Bennell should go straight back playing freo , I rates bennell higher than fyfe. Those WAfl players clumsy tackle will hurt bennell.

Clumsy tackle , might be run into him . Already hurt himself playing for peel , maybe history repeat itself.
