I'm not sure I believe that, he was 21 in 2012 and in 2013 & 2014 he got the Brian Sando trophy for "outstanding and professional attention to detail in the preparation for being an AFL footballer."
Yes ... because he's always preparing his body to get through a game

It wasn't because he's doing extra running or kicking that's for sure

He's getting extra massage , looks after his diet , extra rehab , strengthening / stretching etc

Sounds like me with cricket. I struggle to do any training between matches and am usually into the ice bath straight after the match...well technically it's an esky and I'm actually only in there fishing out ice cold beers but still, I'm dedicated.

And why exactly do you think that the club would not be looking into it or evaluating everything as they go?!

Because based on Pykes answer regarding the hamstring issue.... there is no issue.

Just because they are not on top of the Wespac building shouting it out to the rest of the world doesn't mean that they are burying their heads in the sand about it.

See above

There is absolutely no reason why they should be announcing everything they do publicly just because someone wants to be reassured about it.

I dont think they need to announce everything. Just the important stuff.

Why? To put the fans minds at ease? Please. They don't have to do jack. As long as we're winning they can do what the **** they want in regards to announcing injuries

Whatever gives us an edge, i'm up for. Currently Richmond are now planning for:

Talia may play. But maybe not
JJ the same
Knight the same

Sure, it'll be easy enough for them to have a plan for each outcome, but it's creating extra work for them which can only be a good thing IMO

We as fans are so desperate for every morsel of info that even just the smallest bits of "ducks and drakes" causes us to lose our shit (well some of us, and not directing that at you)

Take the advantage where we can in this day and age of everything being available and enjoy the ride!

Cheney and Keath's hamstrings haven't progressed, despite the club saying they are "on track". Two weeks in a row listed as 2-3 weeks away

Was just thinking about them. They were managed all preseason with their groins and then ping hammies when they finally get going. I'm not sure the change in program is relevant to those guys, they would have undertaken SFA of it.

Who wants to place bets that Talia and Knight's hamstring "tests" turn into 3+ weeks out of the side?

Talia's is odd, doesn't look typical at all. He could have handballed to Sauce instead of kicking which most players would do with a hamstring injury. He wasn't even running, only shuffling to position, when he felt for it. Got involved in the play and jogged off. 15m later hesin the rooms having them worked on, no ice applied. You know when you've done one and it's pretty clear that Talia didn't think that the had. I think he'll miss as a precaution, but I don't think he's done his hammy.

Not sure what people are thinking but there is no such thing as hurting your hamstring , missing rest of the game ( especially full game ) then playing the next week

Hamstrings don't work like that

Talia and Knight won't play and we are at least a 50% chance of suffering another hamstring during Sunday's game

To pick either Talia or Knight or both increases our chances of having a 1 man bench by 3/4 time

Won't happen

Only if he did his hammy, which he looks like he didn't.

Yeah, the fact that they were working on them in the rooms and weren't applying ice to it straight away definitely made me wonder if he'd actually done a hamstring. You don't normally get the area worked on if the muscle is strained/torn.

I heard the club doesn't even monitor injuries at all and if any player reports soreness they are told just to ignore it. This really correlates with our poor form for the last two seasons.

I heard that they put them on stretching machines in their sleep to encourage injuries. I saw them trying to injure Sloaney. Then Sloaney was making babies, and one of the babies looked at me.
