Hmmm... I've watched the Bennell interview a few times now and keep missing the bit where he says he's hoping to be back for round 1. Sneaky media presenters "hasn't ruled out a return in round one"

https://thewest.com.au/sport/bennel-ready-for-return-bc-5293181958001

We've had a good run of articles lately. A month ago this would have been 'Bennell out indefinitely as he refuses to estimate when he will be able to play again, hasn't ruled out retirement'

To be fair a sizable portion of the sports media are simply gossip mongers and know know f@&k all about footy. Most Victorians still wish it was the VFL and treat the rest of us accordingly.

There are a handful of people in media I listen to about footy, the rest are less informed than the average Bigfooty follower.

I fail to see how the majority of the media have us missing the 8. A stack of good recruits, stars returning, genuine young guns.. I dont get it. We were in the majority of our games last year for extended periods.
I think it is the safe call. We are very vulnerable should either Fyfe or Sandilands become unavailable. We are all potential but for now, no substance.

So I think I was onto something in my earlier posts. Sources have made it known that Kim Hagdorn made a New Years Resolution to cut Freo some slack this year, at least during pre-season before things go pear shaped.

I, for one, notice the effort/change of direction, appreciate it, and hold no hard feelings if it continues in this vein.

Maybe is he should stick to trolling because that article has zero insight.:sleeping:

So long as he keeps bludgeoning the English language he adds value.
He's also a great fit for the Eagles and a constant reminder of what they're about.
I've arrived late to Dogsporn appreciation, but arrived I have.

Pretty sure it was just a party of one. Just me, by myself.

So...while giving credit where credit has been due this year to Mr Hagdorn, then this complete douchebag opens his MacBook Pro:

http://www.watoday.com.au/afl/frema...trick-cripps-kane-cornes-20170202-gu3ul1.html

"He (source: the SA Mensa chapter coordinator Kane Cornes who knows all inside goings-on at the Dockers) said the Dockers had all but accepted the 25-year-old would leave at the end of the year, so the club was trying to lock-in an A-grade on-baller to replace him".

Ok. that's new. Seeya Fyfe...

Haven't read it but your summation suggest the insights and general quality of the article is of the requisite standard to be posted on the Nat Fyfe Free agent Fwed?

Kane Cornes has started to get quite the reputation for making up s**t to get attention

I thought Kane Cornes became a firey...
More importantly:
1) What would he know?
2) Why should I care in the first place?

Not sure if it's just desperate straw-clutching from the author of that article or whether Cornes just wants some attention. A bit of both I spose.
