Pets to.

You understand wrong then. Pets havent been counted for years. The AFL audits have routinely stripped away non AFL access memberships

Yer they dont count pets and i believe that only memberships worth $50 or more are counted, which more than likely would mean 3 match memberships are in

We'll overtake last years figure by Round 1. 75,000 still a chance. All depends if we decide to win some games in the first month for once :D
You and your Tiger mates have been quiet!
Agree. If Tiges get on a roll then look out 75,000. Only watch out for the Tiges is the big increases in February may be brought forward memberships due to flat prices. Last year Richmond had strong growth in March. If momentum continues, the numbers look good. We shall see in the next 4 weeks.

Hawks doing well. At 56,000 the Bombers going brilliantly at +7,500 up on same time last year and this years star performer.. The Bombers are back where they belong. On track for 65,000+ members and with big crowds to attend their blockbuster fixtures in the first 8 weeks..

Cats may have stagnated after going past 50,000 last year. The Bulldogs tracking well as expected.

But how are the Pies going? Surely someone knows?!!

Easy to work out. Club says there 1800 womans only memberships included in total tally.

It is very easy to work out.

To be counted as a member by the AFL regardless of what a club says a membership need:

- A name
- An address
- To be given a Membership Pack
- Cost at least $50

The Giants AFLW Memberships cost $45, so they won't count come the audit as The_Wookie has said. But regardless to get 1800 people to join up for it is a credit to the Giants.

GWS and Carlton are the only two clubs that don't have their AFLW Membership priced at $50 or more. But even then I would wait for the audit as its up to the AFL to decide what membership count.

Collingwood - $90
Fremantle - $50
Carlton - $25
Melbourne - $75
Brisbane - $50
Western Bulldogs - $50
Adelaide - $60

Amazing discrepancy there, I would have thought Carlton with the added attraction of playing at PP could have charged more.

None of the memberships allow entry to any of the games (Games are already free, so pointless really) so it really is a Supporter Pack under a different name. At least Carlton as Wookie pointed out called it a donation towards their facilities hence the discrepancy.

Good to see the suns pick up. The lions have basically stopped to a crawl.

These teams aren't listing their memberships on their website.

Collingwood has so many they don't bother these days, the bloke gets RSI typing the numbers in, i have noticed GWS numbers, they seem to go up about 100 a day and then bam up 1000 so who knows.

The Lions unless they get a stack of wins up will be a long process back to the glory days

Would be nice for accounting purposes to know how many Collingwood have, I'm sure it's not that hard.

Essendon and Richmond numbers seem to be moving nicely.

Will be good to have big bomber crowds back. 70k a chance this year. Think we'll overtake last year very soon especially if Dusty signs before season

Swans site lists as 41992, but that number is at least a few days old.

We are still to have our family days in both Sydney and Melbourne plus quite some time until Round 1 and our first game in Melbourne for the year, 65,000 should be the target for the club now. Amazing considering we didn't hit 49,000 until April 8 last year.

If 65,000 is a somewhat realistic target now, i wonder how many are season memberships ( in sydney) and i wonder how much of the SCG is actually sold out.

The difference between Sydney and Brisbane and how one team allegedly cannibalized the others membership in Brisbane is weird, i wonder if the Lions were up and about when the GC came in would it be similar to Sydney where both teams appear to have a very minimal crossover.

Out of interest what proportion of your members are located in Sydney/NSW?
