Just watching a bit of Giants-North again and I don't think Kelly can get to 110. Just too many numbers running through Giants midfield, bit like the Bulldogs. Crouch's game (contested possessions and tackles) more likely to see a push to 110 in my opinion. I still like Kelly but think he will be closer to 100-105.

Anyone thinking of starting LOCKie Neale? I was put off by his injury affected preseason, but he is an absolute ball magnet.
Had one poor game where Mitch Robinson hung off him at every turn and only managed 18 possessions. His next lowest possession count was 26. Had 16 games where he got over 30 possessions included 5 games with over 40! Fyfe playing alongside him is the great unknown, but I think it will help him; he won't get tagged as long as Fyfe is playing, he has a good outlet when he wins the hardball and will be a good outlet himself when Fyfe wins the hardball.
As mentioned earlier, had an injury-interrupted preseason, but still managed 80 w/ 66% TOG in JLT2 and 121 from 73% TOG in JLT3.
To add the cherry on top, he has played 21, 22 and 22 games in the last 3 years so very durable!

What's everyone's thought on mid pricers O'Meara and D.Swallow? I didn't watch any Hawthorn or GC games, how did each look? Both are close to 100% healthy I suppose, would a 100 average be out of reach for either?

Both look fit and healthy, JOM ahead of Swallow at this stage.

100 average would be a stretch for both.

I have O'Meara ......but my head says Hawthorn will rest him for a number of games (one off's) to look after that knee .....i'd be careful of 6 day breaks

That said, you just have to pick him and run that risk

I'm torn between Matt Crouch and Josh Kelly as POD for M6 - Beams at M7 and SPP M8.

Thoughts?

As a Crows supporter, i'd stay away from Matt Crouch ......IMO a good Dream Team selection, but if i had the choice of Crouch v Kelly, it's Kelly every day

Melbourne have been generous in the last few years with gun mids coming good, you can't discount his JLT form either.
