I think the biggest difference between Coffield and Murray will be the chances of them becoming a B grade or greater long term player. Top 10 players have a strong likelihood of being that and it would be a major disappointment if your top 10 pick doesn't turn out that way. Coffield brings some speed and superior ball use which we are crying out for. Murray brings speed even more so and we would love him to become a Saad or similar. Still the chances of that happening are much more unknown.
He has played 2 seasons at NEAFL , the last being solid. Whether he can step up remains an educated guess and I would say there is as much chance of him only playing a handful of games or none as that of him making it. Coffield gives much more certainty and a much higher expected ceiling. I don't see getting Murray as precluding picking Coffield. For mine he is a player that fits a need for us and I would love him in black and white.
Thanks for the info. What are his strengths as a player? I must admit I don't know a lot about him besides the fact he performs well and can play key forward and back.
What are your thoughts on Keitel Snoop Dog and Knightmare?
Assessment above is spot on. He had the talent but there were a few off field issues.
Could we get them all into a number 10 jumper?Umm... I think we could squeeze another one, or 17 in![]()

I reckon Murray gets games when Varcoe is injured. That way we don't lose that pace. If Murray plays well he'll look at replacing Varcoe in the 22. Which is as likely to be next years as this.
Seems slightly optimistic...Pick 6: Nick Coffield
Pick 38: Darcy Figarty
Pick 56: Jaidyn Stephenson
Pick 61: Adam Cerra
Pick 70: Aaron Naughton
I love Winston Wolfe. 'The Fixer'I really like this draft.
I'm curious, what's the knock on Keitel's game? What has held him back? Or is he just a late bloomer?
Out of interest is Ben Paton still available?

But realistically we need someone that isn't one paced for the structure of that midfield because despite Pendles it performed like a joke this year for all the star power it boastsUmm... I think we could squeeze another one, or 17 in![]()
If that's your interpretation of what I said it's wrong, if you already had a Pendlebury you'd go for a Dangerfield, not another Pendlebury... unless you think our midfield is already smashing itYou don't think we could find room in our best 22 for another Pendlebury?
That's all you had to say!
I was Officer in the Beseen chatroom, great bunch of people... but it doesn't look like we are going to draft Balta so perhaps you can organize a competition for naming the next oneWhat was your old alias?

Yep the rest of the competition are trembling before usAFL.com had us 4th in the league for clearances and 5th for stoppages.
