His kicking isn't a weakness at all. I certainly wouldn't call him elite, but I'd class it above average. Tends to kick long too which is a bonus. But problem is he doesn't win a heap of the footy ATM because he's so raw. But he makes up for it in smarts.

I don't mind it , I find it extremely odd though.

Isn't Jobe always wrestling with if he had the desire passion etc etc etc for football anymore and wanted to spend extended periods or at a minimum split his time between Australia and the US of A

If he does though good on him, have always like him and since the drugs saga of which I believe he was hung out to dry a bit and I don't know if he was overly happy with Essendon about it

is there a limit on Assistant coaches ? I never realised that I was aware of the spending tax or whatever it is.

What strikes me on the highlights is how clean his touch is. Never fumbled, the ball didnt even bobble in his hands once in the entire video. Outstanding below his knees, looks to have some acceleration if not great straight line speed.

As others have stated, lots of handballs and his kicks seem to float a little, but I also can’t knock the handball options he was giving. Certainly wasn’t grabbing it and blazing away like some.

With our 2nd pick now out to 38 I really think we could do with another pick in the 20s.

A Fas or Aish might get us one in the mid to late 20s but I’m starting to lean towards that 6 for 9 & 23 pick swap that a few have been talking up. Still get a decent kid like
Bonar/Balta at 9 (may miss on Coffield, Stephenson, Fogarty etc) and then get a Richards at 23 and Petty (or similar) at 38. Tyler Brown late pick.

Well I’m just trying to figure out what coaching line he would take? You would think it would have to be Harvey, because he’s midfield.

Yeah for this year. I think Harvey and Sando’s contracts run out next year so if it is true it would be for one of those you’d think. I don’t know what other coaching job there would be for him at the club.

Only logical way is to trade out next years first, GWS have pick 11 and would do the deal IMO, if we went down that route we'd wanna make bloody sure we finish closer to the top than bottom though, but it's a risk i would take.

Why? Nothing wrong with trading next years first for a nice pick this year and backing ourselves to rise up the ladder, say we got pick 11 this year, it would get us what we want now.

Could potentially land both Fogerty and Balta.
