Doesn’t seem to be as highly rated and we are in dire need of TallsBoy oh boy... this thread is gonna look really lame if Tyler turns into a better player than Callum in a couple of years... after the hysteria last year over Callum the almost total disdain for Tyler is curious... why is this ?

Yeah Coffield the obvious one. Bonar I wouldn't be disappointed with but in the same category as Fogarty, a bit of a risk, probably more so. Clark and Higgins we don't need. Constable isn't going Draft night and is too slow. They're the safer bets. Otherwise it is a Naughton. Most of the picks are pretty skeptical which is typical of a weak draft.

Yes could happen, especially if one of the top 5 mids drops to our pick 6 & we grab a mid, then we must use 38 on a KPP back...hence no match bid on Brown below 38.I get the feeling the club may pass if bid before our 38 (depending on who is still on the table). Heard any different P4L?
Naughton can't kick.Problem with Coffield we are not even Linked to him at all. So we are 1 Pick outside of the Elite Talent?
I still think safest and needed picks be Naughton as a KPP and Forgarty with being Utility. Not Sure Bets but have the Upside to go at 6

I'd be surprised if they did tbh. Not a strong draft to begin worth, we'd prefer after 38 but if it's mid 30s for example I'd expect we will match. He's a good size who can kick with footy smarts. Worth a punt in a weak draft so I'd be surprised if they chose to pass on him.
I seen lot worse Kicks then Him
That and people got their sentimentality fix seeing a Brown jnr run around this year. It will be similar with Nick Daicos in a couple of years unless he projects as elite.Because Callum looks a very ordinary footballer and there's doubt Tyler will be much better and we need key position and not one paced, midfield/flankers?
I have been told that Raynor has told Brions and Frockers that he doesnt want to go interstate, and that he will come home after 2 years if they pick him.

Couldn't agree more.Tapatalk isn't doing a great job with tags so didn't get this until I scrolled back.
Brayshaw has one thing that everyone can agree on - he will be a 200-game player. The reason I'd pick him at #6 is not so much his own traits, but what he offers to a team. You know he's a future captain, can play anywhere if required and just goes in and gets the job done. The gap between his best and worst games is not huge, so he has great consistency. He's a huge endurance beast, and one of those blokes that when you look down the list ticks most of the boxes. More importantly, he has those acts of courage that make his teammates stand taller and lead by example. Not the same talent nor player, but he reminds me a little of Michael Voss in the way he just wills himself to each contest and attacks it fiercely.
His knock is that he has very few offensive weapons, or "X-factor", and while he might not be that get everyone wet player, he's the type that you'll walk home from a game and go "Another great game" or "Just does everything right that kid". He's not going to be the kid that boots five goals in a last quarter to win the game off his own boot. He will be the bloke that somehow wins the ball against two opponents and uses every bit of energy left in his body to kick it forward to a teammate to kick the winning goal. He won't be remembered for game performance as such, more little moments that can change a game in his own way. Maybe not directly, but certainly indirectly by an action.
I have him ranked at #7 on my rankings, but if we're not going to pick Coffield or Stephenson, he moves up a couple of spots, and I'd take Cerra ahead for the extra class, but I'd be very happy with Brayshaw because of his discipline and leadership. Think Taylor Adams' standards if Adams could kick and was an endurance beast.
I was just going to like but wanted to add that when he got serious the improvement was significant, that says to me more time in the system could prove beneficial. The trend is you friend and Tyler has been trending up. Plus he could just be Rowdy Mark 2, that would be nice. There's quite a few draft watchers who think he will be. Callum will be that consistent inside midfielder/forward while Tyler could be that tall midfielder/forward. Plenty of scope for development which recruiters love. Just needs confidence and time in an elite environment to continue his raw development thus far.

His highlights video looks very exciting than either Callum or Josh Daicos's did. Super clean hands, balance, poise, evasiveness, smart - albeit unconfident decisions - as he looked a bit too prone to hand off. There's quite a few draft watchers who think he will be.
