The loss won't hurt Miami's prospects for the CFP. They needed to win the ACC to make it, that doesn't change. Upsets kicking off rivalry weekend, look out Alabama....
Yes it will hurt Miami's playoff chances. If they won today and then lost close to Clemson nextweek they would of gone to the playoffs over a conf champ TCU/Ohio State

LOL Arkansas fire Bielema . I wonder if he regrets running away from Wisconsin now?
2 losses to Mizzou have been the last straw in 2 SEC coach losses this year.

Regarding Mizzou finishes with 6 wins straight

Watch out for Drew Lock. His last half of season has been unbelievable. He threw 5 tds today.

EDIT - BROKE the record for most td passes in a season in SEC history with 43, 2 more then the previous record.

Hes a gunslinger and no one threw more td passes of 50m or over then him.

The question will now be whether he returns for his senior year or go to the draft.

Personal opinion here about the committee, they'll only take non conference champs to the CFP if they are a big team, that has proven calibre (they've been in it recently). Taking Ohio over Penn State.

They won't plump for a team like Miami in their first year back if they aren't a conference champ, but they would take a one loss Bama.

When will players learn?

Also flagged was unsportsmanlike with a 15 yard penalty. Was lucky they went on to score and got to run some time off the clock.

A 1 loss miami werent getting in over a 2 loss conference champion in ohio state.

Congrats Auburn.

Alabama are just about cooked for a playoff unless the committee only look at names

They're surely cooked. They basically need all of Auburn, TCU, and Ohio State to win next week to enter the discussion.

If Wisconsin and Oklahoma win it's all over.

Most the top teams having 1 loss this season is the best thing for College footy.

Did Wisconsin secure a spot though?

I still am hoping for Georgia to win the SEC and making the playoffs. Go the SEC East

Now I'm hoping for South Carolina beats Clemson.

Wisconsin are in if they win next week, regardless of schedule, they'll be the only undefeated power 5 team.

The only way the make it is if the committee only look at names, they should of lost to Miss St. and havent looked great in a few of the other blow out wins.
Best win is what LSU who are not a good team, or the Miss St game they should of lost.

ND as a 2 loss team would be a better pick, only lost to Georgia and Miami.
Ohio State would get in over Alabama, last year they proved that the conf Champ is only a tie breaker.

SEC champ and ACC champ are in. Oklahoma make it as champ, Big10 champ will likely make it

If miami won yesterday, they would of been the #1 ranked team playing #2 in the ACC championship game. a close loss and i didnt see them missing out to a TCU or Ohio State, Alabama.

Agree entirely, name is the only case to make for them as their signature wins aren't that great.

We'll know for sure on Wednesday though, if they drop outside the 4, it's all over.
