Swans up by 11 goals mid way through the 3rd only highlight would be Currys marking around the ground

Something is seriously wrong with our club, no pride the players are going through the motions

Unfortunately the bulk of that team know they're not going to be selected in the AFL team if they're not being selected now
Must be super disheartening as a pro footballer and yeah it must be difficult to get up for games at the back end of the season
Their future is either longterm NEAFL or delist and not being picked up by another club
If you can't make our list, whose list can you make?

We lost 136-29

That's beyond disgraceful when u look at our team sheet today.

Hopefully the boys had a nice flight down and get to do some sightseeing though.

U r kidding Rocket!!! A Coach develops culture and skills in the entire list.
For **** sake mate Rocket has nothing to do with it. rocket doesn't coach the neafl team. it's not his job to do everything in the football department.
Instead of constantly bagging him out on here why don't you man up and go talk to him at the next open training. He is a great guy and is very open with the members.
Man up and go talk to him and I bet you will change your mind about him. And it will save your fellow poster the time in scrolling through all your rants ;)

A few comments:

  • agree with Iva in that if we put our 2 performances against the Swans in a petrie dish it would get ugly pretty quickly; we are talking biological warfare rather than penicillin
  • agree with Boddsy that Rocket has to be part of the problem with the inconsistent performance but most importantly, part of the problem with the insipid games we still roll out every now and then
  • while Rocket gets some credit for the players that have improved, also gets some of the blame for players that have gone backwards/sideways; our player development overall is still lacking
  • agree with some of the other posters that Rocket not the only problem, especially not the problem with getting the NEAFL team ready to play; had enough listed players (and high picks) to have a crack
  • don't know what the problems are, but there are experienced AFL people at the club so suspect there are a multitude of small problems which all need to get sorted (type of players, development, culture, fitness, game style, diet, bowel health, feng shui, climate change, etc).

Almost certainly feng shui

Stunned by this result. There must be something in the game style that we play that just doesn't suit the very defensive sides. This is obviously a Coaching and game plan problem.

For the result to be this one-sided though, something is up. Combine that with the seniors performing so poorly after quarter time, perhaps the preparation going into this round for our list was different? Whatever it was it certainly didn't work.

How do we only lose the inside 50's by only 5 yet lose by 107 points? 31 scoring shots to 9? WTF
Think the I50 eff 19.1% gives you the answer - too many kicks straight to the opposition . Many of Sydneys 123 marks were taken in the back line ...
28 of 47 inside 50s attributed to Hallahan 9, Risca 10, Shaw 5, Brodie 4. In their defence we had a forward line stacked with a combination of top ups , academy players and players playing unnatural positions. Only regulation forward was Loersch.

Good to see Matera is back this week, hopefully he kicks a bag and comes into the seniors for the dogs game. I bet Fiorini, DMac and Lonergan will rack them up but won't be able to get back in

Of course not who's spot are they going to take. Lemmens has been in great form the last 15 weeks surety you're not suggesting that.
He's only had the last 15 weeks as well you just can't tell in that short space of time. Sorry + the last 3 years not long enough mate. FFS.

That Nutting kid is one of the up and coming academy kids isn't he?
Think I read someone talking about him.
Good to see him getting a game with the resizes

Needs to be said, thank you grimlock for always keeping us updated on all things NEAFL, every week the team lists, stats, results.
It's a great help as finding all things NEAFL isn't quite as simple as finding the AFL bits, I know the NEAFL site will show most things but it's a great thing to know every week we can check this thread and well find everything we want to know. so again, thanks.

Late in first quarter
Suns 13 Redland 38
Right from the start Redland hard at the ball, talk both on and off the field really positive and just deathly silence and weak efforts from our blokes

The score is 100% due to attitude and culture

And u all know who I blame for this culture issue m

Just wait till my you know who vow of silence ends tonight

What a joke
