Epic game. Seriously good footy from both sides. Port were good across the board, hunted the ball and the opposition with incredible pressure and tackling, whereas the Cats were more reliant on individual brilliance.

If I was a Port supporter I would be filthy with that umpiring display. But apparently it's only non-Victorian grounds where the home team gets a ride.

Would go as far to say this result might be the best case scenario for us. Port lose another close game to a finals contender so their supporters are once again put back in their box and Geelong got over the line despite not being particularly flash - and having enlisted the help of the umpires. Chris Scott celebrated Dangerfield's goal as if it were a GF.

We're a chance if Pyke actually turns up to the coaches box next week.

Geelong's two-man game typified by winning goal, where Selwood and Dangerfield showed absolute desperation. But, how the hell did Pittard not get a spoil on the winning kick? He was body-nutmegged!

Not sure why any of us should be gloating. Port went a hell of a lot closer to beating the Cats than we have in just about ever.

Both sides tonight would have killed us on the basis of our past 3 weeks.

We need to seriously step up or we will get embarrassed (and we still need to get past Freo...)
