Not a single Crows player.

The AFC will have a press conference during the week to talk about the importance of non-statistical roles.

400kay is definitely unlucky.
Tough side to pick. Roo is unlucky, Voss etc. Not sure Mitchell deserved a spot. Few ahead of him I would think.

On Triple M a caller rang in saying that on social media a lot of talk about the 97 premiership players being pissed off with the club.

Anyone heard about this?
Probably the same Port supporter that rang AA and mentioned the same thing

Yeah heard that one on fiveaa this morning too. Seemed really odd. It was a bit underwhelming for supporters from what I've heard but seriously I doubt there is anything to it for the players.

I think that's a myth. The players were in a private function all night. I would suggest the unhappiness stems from fans wanting a motorcade like Geelong. What did we do for the 10 years? Geelong probably went slightly overboard imo. The reunions are really for the players to get together and get smashed and talk shit about the old days.
I agree I can see why Geelong may have seemed to be a bit overboard however it was a 10 year celebration for the highest winning grand final win in the history of the sport!

Not too sure other team's leadership would have allowed that for the entire game
Their only way to counter it was to flood the defence and hold the ball in and get a fast break themselves, but they couldn't maintain that for more than 5 minutes it seemed.

I dont think Essendon supporters should boo Ryder for no other reason than their club cost him a season. Piss poor really. We at least have an excuse.
That's why they are booing him, because he wasn't one of those brave, honest ones that stayed with the club that didn't really do them wrong. It was all the AFL's fault.

He should get a week for it, as should anyone else doing similar. Do it again you get 2 weeks. Then 4.

Easiest way to stamp it out of the game.
It got a mention on the SA Footy Show, Grant Thomas tweeted that he should have got a game, Choco said if he was coach he would talk to him and Kane moved on pretty quick.

My understanding is that the club wanted to give it a low profile given it was 20 years ago.

Just another Power supporter dreaming up crap. Nothing to see or hear.

If only they stopped drinking the bath water and realise their team is average on every level.

It's always a bit manufactured when they just pluck a H&A game against the same oppo in that year.

What if we don't play North at home next year? The past players all roll down to Tasmania?

My take it was entirely a past players function not really a Club thing. Andrew Eccles was there and he didn't play the 97 flag.
