Even with the immense grit shown by Carlton, Casboult would have to be breathing a massive sigh of relief. Missed two absolute sitters in the second half, was lucky for it to not cost Carlton the 4 points.

We desperately need to avoid Geelong in the finals this year, it's so open.

So, just to put it into context, we're playing some pretty average at times, inconsistent footy, with injuries cropping up week in, week out. We've got so much improvement in us as a side.

We've lost players to 8+ week injures, got players out of form and down on confidence and have a game plan that is supposedly so easy to pick apart anyone can do it.

And yet, at the bye, we're top.

Umpiring was a disgrace. All three trying to hand the game to Carlton--especially in that 4th q. Think the Giants would have won if not for the maggots.

Except for the last BS one to Greene. That could have won them the game if Heath hadn't been too busy pointing fingers. Lololol.

The frustrating thing is we SHOULD be able to beat Geelong. When you look at their team vs ours we're just better.

He's not smart at all. He has footy skills, but is typical of a lot of the GWS players in that they have never really had to put in an effort and work hard throughout their junior careers.

Haha yeah. I last saw the score at 3qtr time. Logged onto bigfooty half an hour later and couldn't get on. Knew the blues had won!

Port have history in losing in the bye. This happened 6 years ago.
