The "chose not to go" thread is amusing. Especially reading Ralf Wiggum shake his head at those that did not go.

I can't wait till I wake up one Sunday morning and there is a Port three game membership in with the free Sunday Mail that I seem to get every few weeks.

I actually rang them once to make sure it was not delivered to me by mistake. They said it was a promotional copy and would I like to sign up for a subscription. I said no and I just put it in the bin without opening it. But every few weeks it is out there.

It is kind of sad the Power have had to stoop to this level giving away a membership with a newspaper subscription. But does show how fickle their supporters really are. Their "supporters" nearly killed the club under Primus. And have jumped off again under Kern.

I never read the Advertiser.
Can you confirm that it said Port was giving away a Membership or that The Advertiser was, if you paid for a subscription, as I don't think Port would throw money away to support the Advertiser.

Exactly... if this was purely an Advertiser promotion then both teams would be offered to increase exposure and target market.

Wouldn't be surprised if port gave them a few thousand memberships and will count them even if they aren't given away

You can't give away tickets if there are none to give pretty sure we don't have any season tickets available they are required to keep so many GA tickets

Adelaide have the advantage of selling 11 game packages Port make up the numbers with 3 game passes it's a supply and demand issue

Logic tells me they would be, but I don't know. Either way, I'd say the majority of the 'subscription' cash would be coming our way. These promotions are about getting people to sign a subscription to gain future revenue.
