Logic tells me they would be, but I don't know. Either way, I'd say the majority of the 'subscription' cash would be coming our way. These promotions are about getting people to sign a subscription to gain future revenue.
I doubt it, the Advertiser need all the money they can get, they'd be pocketing an equal share.

They advertise said memberships for free contingent on paying $109 for a six month subscription

Just admit - the China thing has cost you a fortune.

Your crowds are returning to their bandwaggoning best with most of them realizing you haven't beaten anyone.

And you keep winning against bottom 6 sides which is fantastic as no doubt your list and coach will all get re-signed.

Free memberships and discount tickets - it's beginning to sound like deja vu all over again
 
Now I have seen everything, are Port fans actually coming over here to try and insult our intelligence by trying to spin this as though it has nothing to do with Port ?

I know #Portlogic is a real affliction that many Port supporters seem to suffer from, but if anyone is going to try and argue that the Advertiser sells a $109 subscription and then hands $100 of that money to the PAFC then that takes ridiculous to a whole new level.

It's clearly a marketing deal between both parties where Port are supplying 3 game memberships to newscorp at a heavily reduced cost to try and get people through the gate.
 
Okay so don't ask me why but a port power video came on my Facebook. And I will be honest it was a touching video where I put my dislike for Port aside. This kid who fought of cancer got invited to the club to be captain for the day and got boaks jumper number and got to lead the players through the banner. They had mentioned it in the video.

Nothing is free... unless you can prove they did give them away for free?

Your club constantly goes to the "give away" well hoping it will hook people into buying legit memberships next year.

I can't recall where, but figures have been posted before showing the disparity between the number of 11 and 3 game memberships between Port and Crows.

Two different strategies - don't see us giving away 11 game memberships !
 
Don't think so. Looks like its an Advertiser Sales Promotion. I don't see supported by Port Adelaide there.
They are one of your club sponsors.

It would be part of the sponsorship package. Your club hands them over instead of cash.

And a way to bolster your membership tally so it can limp over 60k.

You get free advertisers at some shops on checkout.

So the paper that no one wants to read is giving away free tickets to games that no one wants to attend.
Package one rubbish product with another rubbish product to produce one big rubbish product.

Of course they've been given away free. Gotta repay Rucci somehow for all the reach around Port articles and ridiculing Crows articles. Makes sense.
 
Some stats for the Port Power trolls visiting our board & why your club is devaluing your brand by giving away its product.

Crows have had 1 sub 40k crowd since the AO redevelopment, 38K last year against North on the Thursday night thunderstorm & hail night.
Port have now had 4 sub 40K crowds this season, after only 6 home games.
Last nights 31,772 is the second lowest crowd at AO since the redevelopment. They have now had 16 sub 40K crowds since redevelopment, interestingly the Port Powers only 4 crowds larger than 49,500 were 3 in 2014 and 1 in 2015, none since.

This year Port have lost to teams currently ranked 1, 2, 3, 6, 8 and have beaten teams 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18, 18.
