Can anyone tell me if Port will get to play their precious song for their home final?
I don't think they should but they did last time...?

They did last time, so I'd assume they would this time.
They should not be able as AFL finals are supposed to be natural venues and AFL only sponsors used.

I was just watching the end of the Geelong GWS game on Fox and honestly Geelong's shitty theme song would have to be close to being in the bottom 2-3 songs the AFL.

Him and Thommo have both been running as if it causes pain the last season and a half. Johnson looks terrible out there.
I think Johnson is desperate to help GWS win a flag to stick it up Geelong, but while his mind still believes he can do it his body just doesn't have it in it anymore.

If you're the home team apparently you can control the matchday entertainment but is subject to AFL approval.

I am sure that the AFL will let them do it before their home final, but not if they play us as the away team. Though if they do finish 4th I am willing to bet that morons like Rucci spend the next two weeks trying to play politics and pushing the envelope about Port being able to do it against us even though they didn't earn it.

Kane Cornes being the utter tool that he is suggested on the Sunday footy show that the Crows wouldn't want to meet Port in the QF.
"Hey Kane, have you forgotten what happened in round 20?"
We wouldn't want to meet them, us being a nice club wouldn't want to humiliate them anymore.

Did someone with reply with the r20 line ??

But..but.. they've got a half fit Wingard back. He's worth 84 points on his own

He's right.

We want to see them knocked out in the Elimination by West Coast

All the Alberton bluster is to hide the fact that they are terrified about finishing 5th and getting done in week one at home. Melbourne, Essendon and West Coast have all beaten them this year

Like Vader said, I'd prefer Port to Bradbury their way into the top 4, get destroyed in straight sets, be completely demoralised, and get a harder draw for 2018 because they finished top 6 after finals. Oh, and of course be forced to watch us win a premiership in emphatic fashion. And we continue to smoke them in all Showdowns in the forseeable future. :D

Regardless they will be prompting the fans to do it during the week and then tell anyone who listens how it all natural,

No one should but sadly they do.

Would the AFL grant them permission to do it on grand final day?
Couldn't their fans just sing the song themselves? Don't need anyone's permission. Given that they all know the words and it's in their DNA I'm sure they'll be able to belt it out

Well, ok but that's not a practical position so I'm sure you can see why Geel v Rich at Skilled won't happen seeing as it's along the same line of thinking
If the AFL wants to keep things unfair, then yes, it makes sense that Geelong wouldn't have a choice where their home final is played
