Brett Deledio has played out his whole 200+ game career without winning a final, and went to GWS no doubt hoping he would. He just lined up in a team that we humiliated in the QF. His old side won a final at last, the very next day. LOL!
Adding to the irony, he wanted to go to Geelong at the start of the trade period. The Cats dangled Caddy as a trade piece, and Caddy got so miffed he up and went to Richmond anyway. And Caddy had some very good moments last night.

They'll find a way to sell most of those tickets. Bring a friend and get half price of their ticket or something.
Some port fans had a go at us for getting 49k v North in the EF last year, but looks like they won't even get that many in tonight.

Humour is very attractive. That still doesn't explain Mick Molloy though.
Gotta say I'm absolutely sick of cameras at the footy continually focusing on "celebrity" supporters, most of it is cheap cross promotion of the stations own shows.
Revoltingly crass.

it is a home state final not a home ground final, Sydney played a home final at ANZ stadium last year, did anyone hear them complain
Probably not but that'd have more to do with a Victorian based media that didn't give two f***s.

A big example of this is at the end of the article about Ollie Wines going on about being premiership contenders in the paper today: "The Power, as with the Bulldogs last season, have gained from the bye at the end of the home-and-away season." How the **** do you know if they have gained from the bye if they haven't played yet???
Yeah, don't get that all. Think they'll benefit the least.

Didn't travel round 23. Last 3 games against non finalists. Last game a walk over against Gold Coast. No players carrying injuries. Jonas suspension drawn out an extra week.

I'm tempted to go and barrack for West Coast for the lulz. Turn up in disguise as Rotajeeves from Perth.
I am going to the game tonight. Bought tickets for my dad for fathers day. Unfortunately he is a Port supporter. I will so be going for the Eagles.

After watching last nights game, I am more than confident Port will not see a grand final this year. They haven't played a quarter this year at the intensity of the two qualifying finals. However even by some miracle that they win tonight, I am sure Kane will still determine that they are premiership favourites and that Richmond and the Crows won't want to face Port. Port won't beat GWS next week anyway.

It's an AFL controlled game - all finals are - Port can't give away what is not theirs

Yeah that is true. We tend to have merchandise sales come finals time usually; e.g. buy a polo and get a free scarf. Port will probably pull a similar thing and advertise on Facebook to get some more people to come.

One thing I admire about Dusty is that when he is tackled his first instinct is to use his strength by trying to push out of the tackle rather than the Duckwoods and Grays of the footy world who's first option when tackled is to always play for a free kick and then complain when they don't get it.
He actually tough, not faux tough like Port

Saw a picture online of a girl I went to High School with fully decked out in GWS merch on Thursday night at the Crowval. I know for a fact she's a die hard Port Power fan. She must've spent over $100 in gws gear just to go along and barrack against the crows. Sums up the scum from the wharfs. So sad.

I saw a Sturt player wearing GWS gear Thursday night, pretty sure Matty Crocker didn't grow up in NSW.

Looking at a grown man dressed up like a cat, crying at football game makes me feel too uncomfortable to want to work on it.

It's going to be interesting to see how long Martin can carry Richmond. There setup is really Dusty - daylight then Grigg, cotchin, Rewolt and Rance.

Now Dusty is probably the best player in the comp but it is a lot of responsibility and if he has a down game what then?

(I will add there is a fair bit of daylight between Martin and our best mids so I'm not bagging Grigg et al.)

Don't want to sound arrogant but watching the game last night neither Geelong or Richmond looked particularly threatening.

Ahh yeah and Dangerfield is a massive flog. I would have liked more for him but him leaving could have been a god send.
