I know Kocbie is full of hot air but I remember when those guys from collingwood got busted for drugs he came out and said Port have a zero tolerance policy toward drugs.

Does anyone else remember him making that sort of comment?

Edit: it may have been when the pushup King was involved with the bikies. Kochie was interviewed and said if he was at Port he would be sacked.

My memoy isn't as good as it used to be but I thought it was along the lines of match fixing, drug use, bikies etc you would be shown the door.

Rucci totally towelled up by a lady on AA just now. She rang up last weekend about the move to AO and Adelaide's promised footprint there.
He mentioned her in one of his rants in the paper today so she rang up and gave it to him for misrepresenting her.
Rucci went all Lindy on her.

I was hoping she would call back, loved her passion and her accent (Liverpudlian?)

We had no right to win the flag in 97 with all those injuries taking place.

You take out those players from any team going into a grand final, almost always they will lose it.

If you had to equate that to today's team, it would be like missing Tex, Betts, Sloane, losing Hartigan and Douglas durng the game.

And playing with Harry Dear in the team.

I'm pretty sure they have a great chance to start their finals well this weekend. Playing a team that's hardly been top 8 material and who travel so poorly at home. They'd have to be clear favourites. After that, I can't see them getting anywhere because then they'll have to play real top 8 sides.

No, not at all confident. Our season has been very average, even dismal in parts. I have minimal faith we can get the job done this year. I was actually referring to the poster stating the media juggernaut supports Port. We all know that is not the case. Crows are the media darlings. Always have been.

5aa have aligned to Port after Triple M broke ranks and decided to throw more money and media at Crows.

It's only Triple M and SAFM who give us more coverage. Advertiser is blatantly Port. May as well have been a cheer squad newsletter during the Shanghai sideshow.

One thing I saw suggested on the main board,(completely tongue in cheek) was that Collingwood had confused Mayne with Mundy, and thought they were getting Mundy. Makes a lot more sense.

I'm convinced that's what happened.

Always liked Buckley maybe not as a coach but his integrity and being a straight shooter.

This whole Mayne thing though. He's being a dog.

I bet some at Collingwood are regretting re signing him now.

Good article about Darren Jarman in today's Weekend Magazine. Never knew he was so fired up about Mike Sheahan's comments on the eve of the 97 GF.

Yeah was a good read, he didn't sleep much the night before which may explain his first three quarters. He woke up in the last after Blight asked him nicely for some effort.
