They'll never confirm it, but whenever they quote the Lifeline number when doing a story, it's suicide.Don't believe that has been confirmed & we may never really know.

Not necessarily - suspected suicide. They'll never confirm it, but whenever they quote the Lifeline number when doing a story, it's suicide.
The only thing we can be thankful for is that the whole business forced him to resignYes. Fortunately for the Sharks they didn't have our Vlad trying to manipulate Essendons 'self reporting' and 'total co-operation'. How inept and out of touch were a whole raft of people who were playing the collusive untouchables in isolated downtown Melbourne, Victoria!
One of your crowning achievements Vlad.
Well the last paragraph is trueWhy the F...k don't Hirds people give the guy the space he needs ......his friends / lawyers / leaches are his worse enemy now .......why bloody bring this shit up in the media at this time FFS

How have I tried to judge you? All I've said is why don't we lay off judging him when we don't know shit? That's hilarious coming from you. Particularly when you are actually judging ME. Hypocritical much?
IVe know a few people whom I'd identify as Narcissistic personalities who have used attempted suicide as a means to an ends not being death.
Whilst these folk could well be suffering a mental illness of their own, they aren't the same as those suffering depression, bipolar, or any other disorder that leaves one prone to actual suicidal tendency.
You know his legal position. We know plenty from Hird's own statements
Anyone watching the NFL Wildcard playoffs on Sunday ?
And what do we have on the front page? Lawyer blaming AFL? Yep, let's keep this going - both media and Hird's side are going to milk this for everything.
Haven't checked, but is the official story that he tried to commit suicide?
Go back over your responses to me and tell me you weren't judging me for what I wrote. How have I tried to judge you? All I've said is why don't we lay off judging him when we don't know shit?
Are you feeling guilty of something?
When you say he attended the investment presentation, has there been any scuttle butt that Hird may have had a financial incentive in seeing AOD9604 be successful as an investor in it himself?Go back over your responses to me and tell me you weren't judging me for what I wrote.
As for judging Hird - it's what has happened since it became apparent that he oversaw a doping regime of his players. Hird had been a favourite of mine for a very long time. He came from my home town, and played footy at my local footy club. He was a brilliant, gutsy player. Loved everything about the man. When he declared he would take full responsibility, it was exactly what I expected from the man. The main tipping point for me on Hird (other than the hiring of the spin doctor and subsequent half truths and pedantry) was when it was revealed that he knew AOD9604 was an experimental drug, at the time undergoing clinical trials - and he knew this, because both he and Evans attended an investment presentation on this compound by the developing company. Despite knowing it was experimental, he allowed it to be injected into his players. That was when he lost me.
There were certainly whispers, but nothing was ever confirmed. It's easy to invest under a company name though. When you say he attended the investment presentation, has there been any scuttle butt that Hird may have had a financial incentive in seeing AOD9604 be successful as an investor in it himself?
Yeah I wasn't judging you.Go back over your responses to me and tell me you weren't judging me for what I wrote.

Would have come as quite a shock to 1970crow.If only Sir James had said something along these lines a few years ago...

Heard a rumour 6 months ago ...heard another rumour that seems to verify 6 month old rumour.
Drugs he gave to players and himself are going to give them all cancer?Don't be too certain this is all about the Essendope saga....
